I tried this deal today and it didn’t work for me. I went to customer service and was told it was because it’s part of the buy 5 save $5 promotion. That and they aren’t just going to give stuff away for free is what he said. It’s strange! I typically get most deals to work. Hopefully the toothpaste will go on sale soon so I can use the $4 off coupon!
I had issues yesterday and I think I figured out what it was — at least for me: I had loaded both coupons to my card (the $2/1 and the $4/2) and I bought 2 toothpastes and it took off the $2/1 coupon. In order for it to take off both coupons, I would have needed to buy 3 toothpastes. Today, I went in and bought 2 more and it took off the $4/2 coupon.
I went today and it didn’t work for me, the PIC was very kind and manually adjusted the $6 off because I showed her both coupons on my phone. I think it’s not working because the item is on $1.99 and the buy 5 save $5 deal and so if the coupon comes off it will create overage, so the computer rejects the coupons and they don’t automatically come off.
