Does anyone know how these companies do these free subscriptions? Do they own your information and sell it to companies? I know there has to be money somewhere for the company giving away the subscriptions, and don’t want to have all sorts of junk mail sent to me if I do offers like this!
I am not sure about this specific offer, but I’ve received other free magazine offers. I have not noticed any difference in my mailbox or my email. I noticed when I signed up for this current offer, there is a box you can check that says please don’t send me anymore offers.
While I don’t know how these offers are being paid for, I know magazines make money from the ads. Ad rates are based on how many people will see the ad. So, the more the merrier.
