CVS: Three free Hallmark greeting cards?

CVS is running a deal this week where when you purchase three Hallmark greeting cards, you’ll get a $3 ECB. It appears this deal might be working on the $0.99 cards, making them free after the ECB.

Let us know if you try it and it works!

Thanks, For the Mommas!

I sent Thanksgiving and Valentine’s cards using this deal…hope it’s running again and can use for Easter. Thanks!

    • Chris says:

Are you sure you’re not thinking of the American Greetings card deal? I did do that a few times, but this one says Hallmark.

  • Liz says:

CVS doesn’t carry Hallmark brand cards…….

  • ikaties says:

    Liz: YES, they do!

And for the record, there are CVS store coupons (found in their beauty book) for cards: buy 3 get one FREE for Hallmark Might sweeten the deal!

    • shelly says:

Where do you find the beauty book?

      • alicia says:

I have 3 CVS stores near me and non have the beauty book..

      • carmen says:

first time I’m hearing about this Beauty Book, but found this at: http://ingoodcents.com/stores/cvs/cvs-store-coupons

“The Reinventing Beauty Magazine is a CVS magazine that can be found only at CVS for the low price of $0.99. Inside the magazine is a coupon pull-out, also known as the CVS Pharmacy Store Coupon Booklet. Some stores offer the pull-out coupon booklet absolutely free….
The Reinventing Beauty Magazine and CVS Pharmacy Store Coupon Booklet can be found in store. Their location varies by store, but you can typically find them by the cash register or in the beauty section of your store. If you can’t locate either, ask an associate. Both of these items are typically referred to as “The Beauty Book” by CVS bloggers, since they contain essentially the same coupons. “

    sweet! Ty!

The 99 cent cards at CVS are American Greetings, not Hallmark 🙁

    • Jessica says:

Its regional as to whether the cards are Hallmark or American Greetings. In my area (NC Mountains) there are $.99 Halmark cards.

  • Lori says:

The coupon states not valid on cards less then $2.49, but I would love it if it was working on the $.99 cards – does it really work?

  • Cris says:

Different regions sell different brands so you may find american greetings or hallmark depending on where you are in the country. I have american greetings and the 99 cent cards always work for this deal.

  • marsha says:

Fyi, our CVS ad says the cards need to have retail value of $2.49 or more.

  • Sarah says:

In AZ we have Hallmark cards at CVS (other places have American Greetings).

I got this deal yesterday with the .99 cards!

    3 for FREE!! Love it!

  • Pat says:

My CVS stores only carry Hallmark, not American Greetings, so it depends on where you live.

  • Jen says:

I don’t know about the cards, but I got some good easter deals yesterday. I bought $30 worth of easter toys and got a $10 gift card. Then I took the $10 gift card and turned around and bought $15 worth of certain candies (including some cute Lindt choc. easter bunnies!) and got another $5 ECBs!

Since I had about $10 in ECBs to start with, I paid very little out of pocket. I love CVS!

  • andrea says:

i did – but they were fighting me tooth and nail – but i stood my ground…… 😀

  • kathy says:

I need to know where to find the beauty book also. I live in the foothills of Virginia. Would this book just be regional?

  • diana says:

I live in NY on Long Island. I got the Hallmark cards that were $1.29 each or three for $3.oo. The $3.00 ECB worked and I also had a coupon from the red machine that said buy 2 Hallmark cards get one free. They deducted $1.29 and they never were marked down to the $1.00 but anyway got $3.oo ECB + $1.29 off and paid $2.58!

  • Brittany says:

This deal worked for me, and the most expensive card I bought was $2. also, make sure you scan your cvs card at the machine first because I also got a buy 3 hallmark cards get 1 free coupon, and I was able to use the same time!
