  • I think this is also a June month-long deal. My store had a sign that said limit 8, including these 3oz bottles! If your store has a limited amount on the shelf- don’t forget to ask for a rain check. I have a picture for those who want to see it here:

I am just starting to do CVS match-ups/ECBs and must thank you for your posts on the topic (and referrals to other bloggers). My brain just doesn’t work this way. But so far I’m having no luck! One week, the store wouldn’t take my $1 CVS Colgate mouthwash coupon (said it was “not an item”/wouldn’t scan). This week, the $2.57 Jergens lotion wasn’t on the shelf, and the manager said it wouldn’t work anyway (no sticker for $5 ECB). Do you find that some stores are more strict, or things that work in one store/city/state don’t in another?

I’ve found that things do vary, but it has helped me to stick with one local store and get to know the cashiers there. I have been couponing there a long time and I try to always be very polite. They all know me, and they know I wouldn’t use a fraudulent coupon. So if a coupon beeps, the cashiers will usually read it, make sure I’m buying the correct item, and then push it through. Good luck, and keep sticking with it! I love the CVS “game” – I am able to save a lot, and to give more generously.

I went to three different CVS stores last night to get the free body wash. The first store had none left, they also were out of the small Jergens. The second store had one body wash left and no Jergens. The third store had plenty of body wash and two small Jergens. But I only received a $1 ECB for the travel size Jergens deal. I will be returning these to get my money back. Although I am not sure how that will work since I used ECB to pay for that transaction.

Keep up the great work! I check your site often for deals!
