  • There’s a few things in here that I missed, like the chocolate bars! This list is always super easy to read. Thanks!

Also, I wanted to add that some areas are getting $5 off $15 from the coupon machine. Our area is getting that but only on CVS brands. Bummer.

  • Amy says:

I have a question about ECB’s. When you have a $10 ECB, can I buy only $5 worth of products, apply the ECB, and then will they give me my remaining $5 back to me as an ECB? In other words, can I only partially use an ECB on a purchase?

    Thank you so much!

    • Cricket says:

No. They will reduce the ECB down to $5, but you won’t get any cash back or any ECB for the difference 🙁

    • FrancesA says:

NO, you lose it! Make sure you spend the whole amount.

    • WilliamB says:

You lose the $5. Strangely, sometimes you can’t even lose the amount, you *have* to spend the whole amount of the ECB or the darn computer won’t accept it. I had a sweet deal set up that used $.05 less than my ECB but the computer wouldn’t accept it – I had to find a way to spend that extra $.05. (Fortunately I had a helpful cashier who handed me a $.35 caramel, telling me it was the cheapest thing she knew of in the store.)

  • Pam says:

What zip code did you use to find the $3 Playtex coupon? I can’t find it anywhere! Thanks.

  • mandy says:

Curious about the suggested Huggies diaper deal. When I do the math, it comes to $29.96 (4 cents under the $30.00 mark) before tax is applied. Will this still work to trigger the computer to earn the $10.00 ECBs, do they include the tax in all of this??? Help, not understanding this. Thanks so much! 🙂

    • Anitra says:

Mandy, the “spend $X” deals will USUALLY still work if you are within 5-8 cents. I did exactly the Huggies deal listed tonight (although I didn’t have nearly all of the coupons listed), and I still got the $10 back.

  • Anitra says:

Check the clearance area of your store – mine had cereal, tissue paper, and gift bags/bows for 90% off! In addition to my planned CVSing, I got 4 large (solid color) gift bags and 4 packages of tissue paper for a total of $2!

  • Linda says:

Just a comment about Staples “deals.” They often make me feel as if they are a “come on.” I refuse to miss church just so I can save some money at Staples. When I go to my local Staples store on a Monday morn, the best “deals” are all gone! Does anyone else have that problem?
