Walmart: Gift basket rebate not working?

I’ve gotten quite a few emails from people saying that the Walmart Gift Basket Rebate site was not working when you went to request your rebate.

I am so sorry about that! I’d heard that people had successfully done the rebate deal earlier this year, which is why I felt comfortable posting about it.

If you did the deal and were able to find a way to get the rebate, would you comment and let us know? I’m hoping maybe we can find a solution that is something other than returning the gift basket to the store or just chalking it up to one of those deals that didn’t pan out like we hoped.
