Raising and nurturing children can be very rewarding, but it’s also exhausting. If you’re a mom who is feeling in need of encouragement, I wanted to invite you to join me on March 23-25, 2012 at the MomLife Bootcamp in Tyler, Texas.
Held at Pinecove Christian Camp, this weekend will be a time of refreshment, fun, laughter, and fellowship. I’m getting so excited and (a little impatient!) for March to come since the schedule of events looks so fabulous!
You will learn much, be loved lots, and have some serious fun alongside other moms of all ages! Come alone and God will provide you with just the right roommates. Or make plans to attend with a group and you can bunk together in the same room, or the same cabin – slumber party style!
Think summer camp, with the addition of wisdom and an entire weekend designed to help you connect with God more deeply and other moms more fully. You will also get to join in on some silly crazy fun and remember the girl you once were – or laugh at those moms who are doing just that!
I’ll be speaking on Saturday morning giving practical encouragement on ways that we, as women, can keep ourselves filled up and refreshed so that we have energy, joy, and strength to be conduits of Christ’s love to all God has called us to minister to. These are lessons I’ve been learning in my own life in dealing with postpartum depression and burnout and I’m looking forward to sharing what God has been teaching these last two years.
FamilyLife and MomLife are committed to making this weekend as affordable as possible, so they offering the entire weekend–including all meals and snacks, activities, sessions, and lodging for an all-inclusive price of $120. To register, just call 877-4PINECOVE.

I really need this! I’ve mentioned it to my husband and he encourages me to go yet it’s my anniversary that weekend. It’s my nature to want to spend it with him, but on the other hand, momma needs some time away from 2 toddlers. Any advice from you ladies? Crystal, I looked this up when you mentioned a few months ago. What fun!
I’m registered and can’t wait to go! Thanks for sharing Crystal! Alsways the inspiration : )
Looking forward to meeting you, Michelle!
I live only 2 hours away! Hoping to go because this sounds like something I would love and need!!! Baby #3 due April 22nd and this would be one last moment alone 🙂
Wow Crystal! I know exactly where this will be : ) Hoping to go! I’ve also started up my new blog http://www.texashomemaking.blogspot.com after reading through your posts about the subject. Hope to see you there! P.S. Loved the book!
I booked my reservation about a month ago. I am soooo excited! I wanted you to know Crystal, you were the main reason I booked it. I follow your site and have for a long time. (I feel like I know you!) I really admire the things you are doing with your family. You have such wonderful faith and a great attitude. I am looking forward to getting to meet you!
I can’t wait to meet you, Tina!
Pine Cove is a beautiful place. We have been there years ago on a family vacation. I hope you all have a wonderful refreshing time. Back when we went, they sold roses all over Tyler for a dollar a dozen!! Something about Tyler being known for it’s roses.
I would so much like to meet you Crystal!
I wish I was closer to Texas! I’d love to meet you, Chrystal, as well as hear Barbara Rainey. You offered me advice years ago when you had your Biblical Womanhood Yahoo group, and God used you to be a part of where I am today. 🙂
Travel is hard with 5 little ones, one of which is a nursing baby… I know many moms are in the same boat. Hope everyone is greatly blessed!
I am a homeschool mom of 8 i so desperatly need this win thanx
I am so looking forward to this weekend. Hubby and I put it on the calander over a month ago and I just registered. I tried to get a friend to go but it didn’t work out for anyone. I NEED this weekend!!
Looking forward to meeting you too, Crystal.
Yay! I’m so glad you’ll be there–looking forward to meeting you!
I have been checking out their website every so often ever since you first mentioned the event on here! I really want to attend. It’s not far for me and I would LoVe to see you in person, Crystal! I just started selling Scentsy so maybe I will be able to afford a ticket if they don’t sell out soon.
Hope I win!
I would so love to attend and would pay for it too but I’m bit too far away to travel…wish all the moms a grand time!
Sounds like so much fun…and I’m just curious…are nursing babes welcome?
Nope. I asked the same question on their Facebook page. 🙁 my baby will only be 3 months old but no.
That’s what I figured, but thanks for filling me in! (Maybe another year they’d consider a room or two just for moms with nursing babes…hmm…)
Now That is a great idea.
Ok.. fixed my name… lol its not ribyn.. Robyn 🙂
Would love to win this!! A friend of mine mentioned that she was going and wanted someone to go with her during Sunday school but I didnt say I wanted to because though the price is awesome it is just not in my budget at all. Anyhow, would be awesome to go! I may try to save up to go anyways because this sounds great, I had PPD with my last baby who had a NICU stay ( which didnt help) but doing very good now and feeling back to normal and thanking God for my family 🙂
What!! This is only 2.5 hours from my house, I’m going to have to look into this!
