During the month of April, I’m encouraging my readers to participate in a 30-Day House Cleaning Challenge (read more here, if you missed my announcement about this challenge last week). Every week day morning at 9 a.m., I’ll post the daily project and every evening around 6 p.m. EST, I’ll post an update and link-up.
I’m in North Carolina getting ready to go onto the set for the Live Webcast with Lysa TerKeurst tonight (are you joining us?). Before I do, I wanted to get my 30-Day House Cleaning Challenge post up.
How did your house cleaning go today? Like last night, I’m sharing one of our most popular posts on house cleaning.
Go read my post on What a Messy House Can Teach You About Financial Success.

That was a very inspiring post! It’s sooooo easy to feel overwhelmed by whatever mess is going on in one’s life. Addressing the mess in baby steps is much easier and much more productive in the end! Thanks for the encouragement. 🙂

I won a session with a professional organizer in a silent auction for one of my kid’s schools the other night. I’m quite curious to see what she will suggest.
Crystal says
That was a fun win!
By the way, I’ve got a post going up today that links to your new ebook. I really enjoyed it, as I knew I would!
Laura Vanderkam says
Exciting! I’m so glad you enjoyed it.
I plan to point the organizer toward my home office and see what she comes up with.

I didn’t get the floors done, but I did scrub and mop the basement stairs. They were gross!
Since I have tackled most of our closets, I plan on cleaning the rest of the floors today. That is what I love about this challenge. Having a printable available so I can plan ahead.
My home thanks you!

My kids helped me to vacuum the floors today so this task didn’t take too long. The house is looking really good now.
Denise says
I got all the floors either “swifferered”, mopped or vacuumed. Plus the throw rugs got washed. Great feeling of accomplishment!
Clare C. says
I was on field trip with my youngest today so I was glad that I had done all of my floors yesterday. Hope the webcast went well, Crystal!

I must of been to late for the giveaways for the webcast tonight but that’s okay. I’m super excited I get to see it. I wasn’t sure if my husband would be home and could put kids to bed for me. I can’t wait to hear what you both have to say!!!
