I signed up and found it was just not a site for me. She was very quick to refund my purchase.

    • Oh yay! I’m so glad to hear that!

Can I ask what were the downsides? I’m thinking about signing up but haven’t made up my mind, although the refund option does make it easier.

I just figure, I really save money by creating my own meals instead of having to buy specific recipes. There are recipes online that I don’t pay anything for and I can cook from ingredients I already have or are on sale. The recipes I saw were “okay” recipes buy nothing out that blew me away. Also, I know she said there are lots of recipes even for picky eaters, but just seemed like there were weeks when it wouldn’t be good for picky eaters when I looked. I’m sure it’s a good service it’s just nothing I “have” to have. We adopted recently so even an extra $8-12 a month seems like a splurge if I don’t really need it. I’m pretty good at taking myself out of stuff. I ended up feeling like it was an impulse buy and when I looked at the site, it just wasn’t for me.

Do you get ALL of the meal styles each week or do you have to select if you want traditional, crock pot, low sugar/flour etc?
