Your $70/wk grocery shopping posts came at the perfect time. My husband unexpectedly lost his job of almost 30 years so we are cutting way back while he looks for another job. While redoing the budget, he put down $100/wk for our family of 4 and I thought he was crazy. You’ve inspired me to really work at it. Thank you!
Also I have to tell you that a recent post made me laugh. Wish I could post a picture of one of your past posts. The way the post showed on my phone was “2 packages of Bic razors — $2.99 each, used” — now of course the rest of the post was on the next line but that was all I saw and I thought “Crystal has lost her mind this time. I am NOT buying USED disposable razors!” 😀 😀 😀
Thanks for encouraging me AND making me laugh — even if it was unintentional 🙂

I’m so glad that my posts have inspired you! And I had to laugh at the used disposable razors bit! It reminds me of the time way back when when I was doing this educational series on my blog and I was sharing educational resources on a themed topic for each letter of the alphabet. When I did B, I chose Butterflies. Only, in my title of the post, somehow how I worded it, it came through the email newsletter cutting off part of the word Butterfly, so it just said, “B is for Butt”. 😉

That’s incredible. Thank God for giving us a sense of humor and teaching us humility.
Keep up the good work, Crystal!
