Good morning! I hope your day is off to a great start!
After a full and wonderful weekend, my cleaning project for today is to just get our house back in order and to get back on top of our laundry. I let both slide in favor of time with friends, family time, memory-making, celebrating Jesus at church, and taking time to just rest.
Here’s my plan for this morning:
- Bible reading/journaling
- Blogging/Business work
- Breakfast/Morning Time — start a load of laundry
- School with Silas
- Morning chores/pick up the whole house — switch the laundry
- Get girls started on their independent work
- Fold & put away the laundry — wash bedding
- Run/shower
- Ready to go — lunch made — head to work at our office space
- Tonight: finish all laundry, remake beds, & go to bed with a clean house! 🙂
This evening, I’ll share a post about how our day went and give you an update (with pictures) on my progress on our house and the laundry pile. 🙂

I have my to do list also this morning. This week I have more time for chores because a lot of my clients are on spring break.

Glad you had a nice Easter weekend, Crystal. Today, I am off work and I have been bitten by the spring cleaning bug. 🙂
I dusted/cleaned the baseboards in our master bedroom, vacuumed under the bed and furniture, and washed all of our bedding/sheets. Also cleaned the shower and threw the shower liners/bath mats in the washing machine. (First time trying that, so hopefully it works!)

Shower curtain liners with bleach in washer works great.

I will also be getting my laundry pile tamed today! I work outside of the home, so my morning routine looks a bit different. I leave for work by 6:40 am. So, before I leave: I help my children get ready and feed them breakfast, start a load of laundry, get dressed and eat breakfast, say morning prayers together as a family. It’s a bit of a hectic schedule, but by starting a load of laundry in the morning, I really help myself have a more relaxed evening. Also, by making prayer time a priority, I prepare myself spiritually for the day.
