I’ve set aside the month of March to really focus on organization in my home and life. And I’d love for you to join me!
Day 11 Assignment
::Get dressed in something that makes you feel great {there’s something about dressing in clothes that make you feel great that just gives you more energy and zest for life!}
::Sit down with a cup of coffee or tea and make a list of weekly goals. I’ll post my goals for this week later today.
::Complete your morning routine {if you don’t have a morning routine, take some time to create one today! Read my How to Develop a Routine That Works–And Stick With It series for step-by-step help.}
::Set the timer for 15 minutes and quickly pick up your house and put things back into order after the weekend. If your house looks like mine, you might need to spend longer than 15 minutes.
::Clean out your silverware drawer. Remove all items, vacuum out the crumbs with your vacuum’s attachment, wipe down the drawer with a damp cloth, get rid of anything you don’t need or no longer use, and then put everything you’re keeping back into the drawer in an organized manner.
::Find 7 items to get rid of today. Throw them out, stick them in a donate or garage sale box, give them to a friend who can use them, or list them on Craigslist or eBay.

Your getting organized has really motivated me, but I am starting at the top & working down. It is going to take me longer as I am no longer young. I am also sweeping the ceilings. I love reading you. Thank you.

March Is Not Working To Do The Challenge, But I Am Looking Forward To Starting Mid-April. I Was Just Looking At My Silverware Drawer Yesterday Noticing it Needed Attention! (I Don’t Like That My Phone Capitalized Every Word!)

I was just lamenting the state of my silverware drawer. I just reorganized two big cabinets in my island and I think one drawer at a time will be a great way to do manageable size chunks to get a huge result!

You can do it!

I’m starting today’s challenges much later in the day (due to a field trip). I have a feeling that my silverware drawer is going to be a bit scary.

Thank you so much for this! I am not able to do all during the week with my work schedule and kiddos but this weekend I had a huge box of items to get rid and it feels so good to be getting rid of stuff we just don’t use/need anymore and putting some on ebay oh and having a clean de-clutter free home!

Way to go, Mindy!

Crystal, just this weekend, I rearranged my silverware; polished my good cased pieces and donated all of my mismatched pieces in my kitchen, and went to Sam’s Club and purchased restaurant silverware, no next to nothing, for everyday use! Your guides are awesome! Thank you!
