  • This is a fantastic price! Thank you so much for sharing. I’ll pass it on to my mommy friends!!

Just a heads up – as someone who froze and thawed nearly 400 bags worth of breastmilk with my son, I have to say these are the worst bags out there! Out of every five of these bags, four of them leaked. As frugal as I am, I decided to pay more for the higher quality bags, like the Medela, which didn’t leak once. That stuff is liquid gold and hard work, and I’ll happily pay more if it means it won’t go to waste!

I actually liked these bags as well as Medela. I didn’t like the NUK brand since those leaked for me all the time. I’m actually tempted to buy these right now since it’s such a good deal, but I’m no longer nursing and not pregnant so they’d sit for too long to buy right now.

Sorry these didn’t work for you. These are the only ones I used and I never had any problems. I wonder if you got some from a bad batch or something.

  • Kelly says:

I never had any problems with these bags and nursed my daughter while working FT for 16 months : ) But I agree, if I did have leaks I wouldn’t tempt fate. I spent many a late night long after getting her to bed, or coming home from a meeting, pumping away. It takes dedication!

I’ve tried a few brands and found none to be significantly worse or better than any other. I did QUICKLY learn that you only thaw those precious bags in covered container in the fridge. That way when they thaw and if they leak (some will!) they milk is in the container and you can still save it.

    Happy pumping!
    Heather
