Do you have a list with good prices for school supplies? This is my first year couponing, and I’m not sure what deals to jump on and which ones to wait for a better deal. Thanks.

I don’t, but I’m trying to post the ones that I feel are the better deals. If you’re new to couponing, I’d say to wait a few weeks, watch the deal lists that go up and keep note of the lowest prices you see for items at stores you have in your area. Then, once the end of July rolls around and the school supply deals are really heating up, you’ll know what is the best price for items in your area and you can start shopping!

Ahhh, can it be that time already?
@ Andrea- not sure where you live but I am in Texas, and it seems that these prices are pretty good. Notebooks can go as low as 10 cents, but I haven’t seen that too often in the past. Good luck!

One thing you may want to try is to only buy the supplies from stores near you or ones you normally shop at. My favorite places to get them are Target, Wal Mart, CVS and Walgreens. I ring my supplies up separately and keep the receipts in one place. I have been know to return a supply during my normal shopping trips if I found it cheaper elsewhere later.

@Erin, I have been known to do the very same thing. 😉
