Are you joining us for the 12 Months to a Healthier You Challenge? If so, it’s Friday and guess what that means? It’s time for our weekly check-in to post our progress.
March’s Challenge:
We’re focusing on developing the habit of drinking more water in March. I encourage you to set a simple and doable goal for drinking more water and to stick with it.

My Water Intake Goal for March
My goal for March is to drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. I’m also hoping to keep up with January’s habit of doing exercising at least 4-5 times every week and February’s habit of eating six big salads every week.
This Week’s Progress:
I drank 8 glasses of water 5 days this week. Still not 7 days, but I’m encouraged that I’m making water-drinking a better habit. And I hit my exercise goals, as well as my salad goals.

I’ve met my exercise & fruit & veggies goal! I’m feeling much more energised, less heavy & enjoying my colourful meals more! I’ve upped my water intake at least by a third during this challenge. I’ll continue working on it. Somehow it’s harder in the evenings… when my 3 boys get back from school… Strange how that coïncides ?!:)) good Luck everyone!!

Way to go!!!

Met my water drinking goal again (I realized I drink an entire bottle during my workout, so that helps). Also met my workout goal, 30 minutes for four days and 25 minutes today. Still struggling with my eating habits, waiting for the dentist to take out my broken wisdom tooth, so I’ve been limited on what I can eat comfortably. I’m trying to add extra veggies to my soup. :/

Now that I am FINALLY getting over my cold/sinus problems I did much better with my water intake!
Good job everyone else! Way to get healthier in 2014! 🙂

I had to work extra days and hours than I’m used to this week, so I completely skipped my exercising all week long…..I did my best to focus on drinking more water, though it’s been a challenge to do that at work also. I did keep up with my daily salads and fresh fruit though!

This week I missed my goal by just one glass of water a day. I did meet my exercise and vegetable and fruit goals. I need to continue to work on my water intake.

Way to go! You are doing a GREAT job!

I’ve kept up with the water, but the one exercise I really need to do I haven’t done all week long. It’s important, because it’ll help my knee continue to recover.

Good for you to be keeping up with your water intake!

I hadn’t joined this challenge yet this year, but I did start increasing my water intake. Actually, this past week hasn’t been as good of a week, but I usually think about 64 oz a day now. (This is a huge change since January when I rarely drank water and consumed coffee in large quantities.) I think I’ll have to join up with this challenge for April!

I am loving this little challenge! I’ll have to join you all in this with a post next week, as I’ve been working on getting healthier and losing the weight from my last pregnancy. I’ve been drinking at least 64 oz of water daily all this year. To help me do this I fill up my 32 oz Nalgene bottle as soon as I get up and I have a rule that I’ve got to finish it all by the end of lunch. Then I refill it and have to finish the second one by the end of dinner. That’s what helps me. Best of luck to you all in this coming week and looking forward to April’s challenge.
