I had a really good week last week–even if I didn’t get a whole lot crossed off my list. It was relaxing, peaceful–and I got more than enough sleep every night–which felt so good! I’ve really been trying to go to bed earlier on a very consistent basis and I’m starting to really feel the difference. Now if I can just keep this up long-term! 🙂

Artisan Bread in 5 minutes a day is so worth the little effort to do! We love it! My 10 year old son often does the mixing and most of the eating too!
I recommend that you start with a white flour only recipe and then adjust with wheat flour on a subsequent batch.
When you make the balls of dough, I put them on parchment paper to rise and then slide that into the oven on my stone!
Enjoy!

While I know your family needs clean clothes (as does mine) I was so happy to see that this was a chore you didn’t do as well on last week. At least, I assume so, since you didn’t cross it out. Laundry is my least favorite thing so I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who can’t seem to tackle this simple task! Thanks for keeping it real!! 🙂

I am shamelessly copying your idea for wrapping Christmas books and reading 2-3 a day! I work out of the home in the evenings and this is a great way to spend time with the kids after school!!

Thanks for the link up. It is a busy season making it even more difficult to stay on top of goals! One good thing about sharing goals with others is that it helps keep me more accountable! 🙂

I bet your girls will love The Nutcracker. How fun!
I have to force myself to get back into my writing/walking/bulk cooking routine this week. Last week was spent getting ready for a party, but I’m ready to get back to real life.

Hope everyone has a great week and is able to get a lot crossed off your lists.

I completely dropped the ball with Christmas cards 🙁 I need to be much better organized next year.
Anyway…moving on…I add my healthy living and weight loss goals to me weekly menu plan. It has really helped in holding me accountable every week. I posted the link in the linky but here it is just in case anyone is interested. http://www.skinnymomskitchen.com/2011/12/13/menu-plan-december-12-%E2%80%93-december-18th-plus-weight-loss-goals-and-a-make-ahead-meal-instructions/

Wow! Where is December trying to go?? I need it to chill out. I did okay with my goals last week. My husband fixed my closet, which had crashed. So that was a major goal off my list! Also, I am trying very hard and praying very hard to find ways to make money from home. I really, really want to continue staying home with my kiddos.

Just prayed for you. Hope the Lord has something just around the corner!

Every week you keep adding get enough sleep and every week that is the one thing I never resolve to do. I think I am going to unofficially add it since I have been so sleep deprived for the last well (all my life).
Someone just told me last week when I was complaining about gaining a few pounds this year that, “you know they say sleep deprivation is one of the quickest ways to add the pounds….” lol. That’s good though that that’s all it is. I thought it might have to do with the lack of exercise and wine. 😉

I’ve been wanting to read “Kisses From Katie”! I love her blog!

I really like the idea of wrapping up a variety of Christmas-themed books for the season. I won’t get to that this year, but it’s something to remember for next year. Is this something you do every year? And if so, do you find new books for each year? Or is this a new activity?

Well, I posted my link above to my weekly goals… but the first link was messed up – didn’t copy/paste correctly. So I tried it again, but forgot I had copied something else in the meantime. That link is to my husband’s blog (He’s got a film camera for sale if you’re interested.). So if you want to get to my weekly goals, you have to find the one what says “Carrie’s Weekly Goals – 3rd times a charm”.
*sigh* – And the week is just starting!

Sounds like a busy week ahead! 🙂 Just a head’s up- your artisan bread link took me to a page that wasn’t found. I’d love more info on it!

I love that you put a number on blog posts for your goals – I need to do that! I ended up taking a month-long break from my blog (oops) while I adjusted to life with a full time (night shift) job and a part-time (day shift) job. Now that I have a rhythm again, I miss blogging and writing! Thanks for consistently posting goals, it gets my mind refocused to my plans for the week. 🙂
