Very nice list! I’m getting back into sharing my goals now that school is starting and life has to get back to somewhat “normal”
I may need to try out that Borrowers book for my boys. I haven’t had any success in getting them to want me to read chapter books to them. Any tips? They are 4 and 2.5…

I just read through everyone’s link and am very inspired by all of you. Thanks for sharing your goals, successes and failures. I hope to join in this weekly process in September.

This week I scaled back my goals. We are starting to work on a few lessons for our homeschool this week and then a few more next week to ease into it. So as we adjust I am just doing a few goals each week.
I hope this week goes better for you than last week. 🙂
Crystal says
Thanks so much — and your plan to do fewer goals while you ease into homeschooling sounds like a good one!
Victoria says
I didn’t manage a single one of my last weeks goals. Getting school up and running for the year took up all my spare time. It went smoothly today though and this evening I actually got one of my 3 goals done for this week. That feels really good!

I’m sorry that you had a challenging week. I am inspired that you were able to see the blessings in all the interruptions you had to deal with! I will pray for you that your week goes smoothly. 🙂

Thank you so much!

Good luck with your first week of school 🙂 Will you be doing a post on your homeschool schedule?
Crystal says
I don’t have a post on our schedule planned, but thanks for the idea.

We do MFW, too. This year (today) we started Creation to the Greeks. So far it’s great! 😉
Lydia @ Not Afraid of the Snow says
I had one of those weeks that I didn’t get a whole lot done either. I am excited to see your new challenge that is coming out!
Stacy says
Can’t wait to see your homeschool schedule!!! Where do you get your reading list for the books you are reading to your girls?
Crystal says
We’re doing My Father’s World for our core curriculum, so we get a lot of reading ideas from the books they suggest on their reading list.
Joy Y. says
I have used that wonderful curriculum for year. My oldest will graduate from it next year…. and my “youngest” won’t start it for 5 =) Love their book suggestions.

What do you think about the ChaLean program? I looked at it a few years ago but never got into it… I think I got pregnant right about then. lol
I hope you have a smooth and easy week! Enjoy your first week of school!
Crystal says
So far, I’ve been pretty impressed with it. I’ll know more in another month or two after I’ve done the whole thing.
David's Mommy says
Will there be a new challenge soon???
Crystal says
I’m doing a Slow Down Challenge this week. The first post will be up tonight. 🙂

I am so glad you are doing challenges again! I so appreciate the motivation and push they give me. 🙂
