I’d love to see you post about your new fall schedule with homeschooling 3 kids now!

I’m excited to see if you like the brownie mix recipe.
This week I really just have one big goal, which is to get a new morning routine going.

I am working on a cleaning my house and getting it into good shape before we start our fall homeschooling schedule. I am also hoping to get some more of our vegetables out of our garden dried so we can use them in soups this fall and winter.
I have a skirt I am almost done knitting. I really should put that as one of my goals for this next week and finally get it done. I hope you are able to finish your scarf, it is always nice to get a project done. I recently started knitting two socks at a time because I would get one sock syndrome and never get the second one done.
Jen @ Master the Art of Saving says
I have been so busy with buying our first house that I’ve barely been working on my goals. I guess I better hop to it. 🙂 Good luck on your goals for this week.
Aimee says
Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society is one of my favorite books. I tried reading it once and couldn’t get into it and then tried again later and couldn’t put it down. It’s a really interesting storyline and one of the most creative formats I’ve seen. Enjoy!

I don’t really have any goals; or at least any that I’ve taken the time to really think about and organize. I’ve always wanted to, however. Your post has been inspiring/challenging me to do so. As of now, the only goal on which I’ve been actively working toward is to finish reading the four Gospels. I’ve read two already, so….. I’d like to complete the other two, this week. I’ll then move onto another bible reading goal.
P90X???!!! You must be in really good shape to do those videos. I use to look at the commericals and dream of completing the 90-day challenge. LOL!!! Well, maybe one day. Right now, I think I’d better just stick to walking. Please keep us posted w/ your progress with the program. 🙂 I commend you for going forth with it!!
Crystal says
It’s my third time to do P90X and I still don’t do the really advanced stuff and take a little longer breaks than they do on the videos, but it’s a great workout and I really enjoy the variety. It’s been so fun to do with my husband, too! I’m hoping we can both make it through the full 12 weeks!
Carol@simple_catholic says
I’ve heard a lot about the P90X workout. It seems to be quite a workout from what I was told. Good luck with it!
Victoria@Snailpacetransformations says
I am trying to imagine my hubby and I doing P90X workouts together, and giggling! all of the rooms of our home are tiny, and I don’t thinking even one person could do the moves, let alone two! Oh how I dream of a basement rec. room. Well off to painting! I have a lot of it in my future this week! (room painting that is)
Stacy @ A Delightful Home says
I’d love to know how you keep on track with your goals. Do you post them somewhere or keep them on your phone?
I have a place on the wall, but I often forget to look at them! Must work that into my morning routine 🙂
Marie says
Thanks for hosting! How in the world do you start and finish that many books in one week?! I think I always have three or four going at a time, and it takes me a month to finish them.
Crystal says
Well, come back next week to see if I actually finish any of them. I figure it doesn’t hurt to aim high! 🙂
Leah says
I love this link up! It is always great to see your goals because you do, in fact , aim high. It is an encouragement to me to do so as well, but not get discouraged when life happens.
Sandra @ The Sensible Mom says
I love your weekly goal link up, Crystal. I love reading your goals, too!
Crystal says
Thanks so much for your kind encouragement!
Katie Haney says
P90x is so great!!! I did it twice through and loved it!
Crystal says
This will be my third time through — though the second time I didn’t end up making it all the way because of schedule changes (or maybe I just used those as excuses?!?)
Erin @ My Mommy World says
I’ve always wanted to try the P90X system….so many people say that it’s a great workout. I hope you have good results!
Crystal says
I loved it when I did it before and am excited to do it with Jesse this time around!
Courtney says
Where are they free? I’ve been on my library’s waiting list for months. I’d love to try it out and see if I like it.
Jacqueline says
Yes! I’d love to know where they are free too!
Crystal says
Nevermind on that, Jesse said they were bootlegged copies. 🙁 So probably your library (or borrowing it from someone) is the best option for trying it out.
Sidetracked Sarah says
I need to do more goal setting. I recently read an e-book on planning your year in advance, etc called Purposeful Planning by Phyliss Sather. I’d love to take a planning weekend with my husband sometime soon just to get some of that important stuff scheduled in (and so that we’re on the same page, too)!
My current goals? It seems like blogging is taking it’s toll this week! I’m working through an Organizing & Cleaning 5 day series on my blog with 21 other bloggers and that’s taking a ton of time. It’s helping me to get my goal of cleaning and organizing my kitchen done though!
Crystal says
Oh, that sounds like a fantastic ebook!
You sound ambitious with your blogging series; way to go!
Sarabell says
I agree, I’ll have to check that book out!!
