Last week I was on vacation, and finished the week off with the wedding of some dear friends, so I didn’t set any goals. Excited to be back on the goal-setting train this week! Good luck to you and your goals!

Well, I am back at doing my Goals this week. Congrats on the running goal. I struggle constantly with keeping myself on my excercise plan. I think I might take a picture that I have of “skinny” me and stick it to my mirror. Might help?!?
Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Coupons says
Well my main goal last week was to spend a lot of time with my dog, and I was able to do that. Thanks to all of you who prayed for us! It means so much to have so much support. Ya’ll are wonderful!
Crystal says
{Hugs!} I can only imagine how difficult of a week it was for you.

Thank you so much! We set her official “sleep date” for the 25, when we can all be there. In a total work of the Lord, we will be blessed with another puppy a few short weeks later (he needed a new home and some friends thought of us – without knowing any of what is going on!). While we are still in the process of grieving Kelsie, we are so excited to get to enjoy new life shortly after!
Brooke says
New life is a great way to celebrate your dear buddy! Hugs! We just went through the same thing, and its been really nice for the kids to have a new friend!
Beth says
Had to scale back on my goals for this week – crazy busy with school and sports! Added my goals to the link up!

I’m very jealous of the 7.5hrs of sleep goal!! With a SN child who needs meds at midnight, & waking up constantly to make sure she’s ok, I’m exhausted. 6 hrs of interrupted sleep will have to be enough in this season of life. Sigh.
Crystal says
{Hugs to you!} Can you squeeze in a nap in the afternoons?

I like how you try to get some handwritten notes done each week – I should do that, as well! I really have been feeling like I need to write a note of encouragement and thanks to my Bible drill instructor from middle school – she really helped instill a love for the Word in me. Seeing your goal every week reminds me that I need to get on that! Thanks! 🙂

I’ve been accomplishing about 2/3 of the goals I’ve set for myself each week for the last several weeks. This leaves me lots to do still! Therefore, this week’s goals will include trying to get done some of what I still haven’t gotten done–plus a few other things.
Goals for this week:
Experiment with homemade cracker recipes.
Take pictures of hot pepper jelly and get the recipe up on the site!
Finish sewing dress for 5-year-old.
Make 2 more toddler bibs.
Pull weeds and bolted plants from the garden.
Make a peach pie.
Work on more sewing projects (TBD).
Mix up several salad dressings to use this week.
Cut nasturiums and parsley flowers for arrangements in the house.
Replant zucchini seeds.

I did mine this morning. WOO HOO!

Great job on completing a lot of your goals. I have to tell you since I started doing the 10 weekly goals it has allowed me to stay on track and not be running all over the place. Thank you
Chelsea says
Good job getting your email cleaned out. I would love to take a peek at your summer schedule!

After falling off the goal making wagon a couple weeks ago, I am back on. It is definitely challenging having a 6 week old, 2.5 year old and a 5 year old at home and trying to get things in a routine. Hoping that making the goals will give me some direction!
Carol@simple_catholic says
This is the third time since last Wednesday that “The Referral Engine” was either mentioned to me or came across my path. Maybe it’s the Holy Spirit telling me I should read this book! LOL!
As always, thanks again for sharing your goals each week and hosting the linky.
God bless.

I got most of my goals accomplished last week. A few I did not get to but it was a busy week.
I have a few things I need to do for my husband this week. I need to transplant a few plants into the garden. Our weather went from in the 60’s to almost 90 degrees over the last two days. So I think it is time to get the plants in the garden.
I need to help my daughter finish her science book this week. I would like to send a few hand written notes this week too.
I need to get a little more sleep also. Our new dog keeps getting me up way to early.

Great job! I love the spend 30 minutes doing something fun as a family goal. May have to borrow that one!
Well, my goals are being all messed up. We just found out we have to move out of our house (we rent it). This is going to totally mess up our financial plan that we were working on.

Hi Crystal! Any go-to snacks you can recommend to eat post-workout? I am hitting my exercise goal of working out but I am finding myself famished. Thanks! 🙂
Crystal says
PB&J, Protein Drink or Shake, or this:
https://moneysavingmom.com/2010/09/chocolate-peanut-butter-banana-smoothie.html
Drinking a glass of chocolate milk is also supposed to be a good post-workout drink.
And congrats on hitting your exercise goal!!
Mackenzie says
Thank you!! 🙂

I finally got back on the early-to-bed-bandwagon last night, and actually woke up at 4:30 – I made myself stay in bed til’ 5, saying, “Crystal said to get at least 7 hours of sleep.” 🙂
I went outside to a beautiful morning, and all the neighborhood dogs immediately started barking. I think my neighbors are going to want me to sleep in. 🙂
I got my eBook formatted, my goal this week is to get it up on ejunkie. This is such a steep learning curve for a non-techno-person – I had no idea of all of the ins and outs!
Other Goals:
Try to fix garage door opener
Try to fix vac
Start Monthly Cleaning List
Clear out my inbox
catch up on sewing/mending
Kelly says
As I was reading through your goals, I noticed that for last week and this week you have “8” listed twice…so last week you did have 10 goals and this week you have 11 🙂
Crystal says
Maybe I need to start getting nine hour of sleep or something?!?! I looked over the numbers on the list 3 times and didn’t see that mistake. Thanks so much for catching it… now we all know I’m really losing it!!!
Melissia@Bravely Frugal says
Can’t believe I got to cross off all my goals last week. My favorite was stretching out my gas tank over 2 weeks! Even have 1/4 tank left!
Crystal says
Way to go!!!

Just in this last week I have been trying to figure out what to do about a summer schedule.
I am curious what all you moms do about your children being out of school for the summer, especially if you are a blogger! Do you maintain a more relaxed schedule or do you organize some help with the children?
Victoria @Snail Pace Transformations says
I see you got all your runs in this week. Great job! I went out today and ran 8, it was so beautiful here in Indiana. I am thinking I should have put on sunscreen though my shoulders are looking a bit red.
