Tips & Tricks
- Clip your Walgreens digital coupons before you shop — they disappear fast!
- Some stores may have different prices or limited stock, so check your local ad or the Walgreens app.
- Always look for Register Rewards or Walgreens Cash offers that can make deals even sweeter.
- Double-check sale dates — promotions can end or change quickly.
FAQs about Saving Money at Walgreens:
The weekly deals are advertised in the weekly fliers, distributed by email, and appear in your app. You can also pin and revisit this post because we update it with the best Walgreens deals each week!
To start out, you would check your local ad or return to this post and find out what product you needed to buy that week, which would use a coupon and generate Walgreens Cash and/or a Register Reward for the purchase price you paid. Once you bought the item, you would receive the Walgreens Cash or Register Reward in your app or printed at the bottom of your receipt, which you could use like cash on your next transaction, thus making that item, in essence, “free.”
If you’re new to shopping Walgreens deals, our Walgreens 101 post outlines how to set up a Walgreens account and everything you need to know about weekly deals, coupons, Walgreens Cash, Register Rewards, and other ways to save.
Walgreens’ weekly promotions go live on Sundays, but you can view the Weekly Ad Sneak Peek each Thursday at noon.
Walgreens frequently offers 40-60% off print shop items like photo prints, photo magnets, wooden panels, and even photo puzzles. Check out all our Walgreens deals for the latest coupons. Be sure to choose in-store pickup to save on shipping costs.
Did you do any drug store shopping this week? We’d love to hear what great deals you scored!

I try to copy what you do, but I NEVER get the rewards back that you do. For several items, you received $11 rewards whereas for the same items, I only am estimated to recieve $5.26. Do you know why this might be?
Thank you for these shopping helps each week. They are very helpful!
Hi Sarah! Thanks for reaching out. I’m not sure if you are shopping in or online but the Register Rewards will ONLY be given if you are shopping in store. Walgreens Cash, however, will be given whether you are shopping online or in store. Maybe that clears up your questions? Can you let me know which deals you are trying to do that don’t have the same rewards on your end? I can look into it. Thanks so much for following along. – Gretchen, MSM Team
Ok that does explain it. I have only been shopping online. I’ll try in store. Thanks a bunch!
I do not see the $5 off Gillette/Venus coupons or the $10 back in RR. Could this be regional? Thank you!
I’m curious if anyone else encountered this…I did not get Register Rewards or Walgreens cash with the Oral B purchase, but a manufacturer’s coupon for $5 off my next Crest, Oral B, or Fixodent purchase of $5 or more.
