Does Meijer double coupons? Some of these items’ math doesn’t add up. Am I missing something? Please explain.
Example: Chex Mix $1.00, – .50 coupon = Free
Meijer does double coupons. Here in MI they only double up to 50c but I think in other areas they double higher, you may want to call your store and find out. So, yes, if something is $1 and you have a 50c coupon, you will essentially get it for free! Pretty cool, huh?! You will also want to ask them how many they will double in one order. My store will only double two of the same coupon per transaction. So if you want more than two bags of Chex Mix, you will have to ring them up separately…which I have done before
. Hope this helps.
Now I have a question as well. Does your Meijer double more than two coupons for the same item? I’m just trying to figure out if this deal will be as good for me since my Meijer only doubles two of the same per transaction.
The three Meijer stores in my area (Muskegon, MI) do not double coupons, although I wish that they did! There are some awesome deals if coupons could be doubled (still not bad without the doubling, though!)
Meijer also has a great deal on the lunchable sub sandwiches. They are priced at 1.25 through this Saturday (4/24). With the $1.00 Catalina that prints out, cost is .25 or the $1/1 from the 3/21 SS you turn it into a .75 money maker.
Hidden Valley Farmhouse Originals is on sale for 2.5o. When using the $2.00/1 coupon from the 3/14 SS price is .50 If you purchase two bottles, get 1 head of lettuce (up to 1.29) free at the register. This turns into a freebee for the two bottles of the dressing and the head of lettuce.
One more:
Breakstone’s Cottage Doubles, single serve priced at $1.00
Buy 3 in one transaction and you’ll get a $3.00 catalina for oyno (through May 15)
Final cost: Free wyb 3
The Illinois Chicagoland Meijer’s do not double coupons.
Meijer in Michigan will double up to .50 as long as it doesn’t state on the coupon “Do not double or triple”.
Most Meijer stores in West Michigan DO NOT double coupons (Holland, Grand Rapids, Muskegon, etc.) although many in the central and easter part of the state do (Lansing, Detroit).
I think there are fairly comprehensive lists somewhere online that say which meijers double and in what way…don’t remember where so try google
My meijers (midmichigan) will double up 2 like coupons that are up to 50c off and after 2 they just take face value. I don’t know if I have ever seen a low value coupon NOT say do not double or triple…(I would like a store that triples
) the meijers here automatically double them just because of how the computer was configured. If someone has to type them in by hand for whatever reason some, more anal, cashiers will NOT double them by entering them in as Meijer coupons (which do not double automatically) although I have only noticed this happen twice…and they didn’t like that I had a lot of coupons :/
