As you might be able to guess, we keep Christmas really simple here. Our goal is to make special family memories and have a focus of giving to others during this special season of the year.
Because of this, we only do a few gifts for our immediate family. And this year, it was especially simple because Burlington Coat Factory sent us a $100 gift card with a challenge to see if we could buy gifts for every member of our family and stay under $100.
Well, since we already keep it simple and we found the prices at Burlington Coat Factory to be very reasonable, we were able to buy our whole family's Christmas presents for $93 including tax!
Here's what we purchased:
–Mittens for both of the girls
–Duplos for Kaitlynn
–A tool set for Kathrynne (she's quite the handy-woman and loves to try and "fix" things!)
–A nice dress shirt for Jesse (the price of this shirt alone if purchased elsewhere would have been $50. Not that we would have paid that, but it is a very high-quality shirt and it was only $20!)
–Lip gloss, leather gloves, bath set, and two kinds of dark chocolate for me (Jesse picked these out and he knows me so well!)
We were quite pleased with how far we were able to stretch that $100 gift card and it was so great to be able to go into one store and do all of our family Christmas shopping in a few hours for a very reasonable price!
Would you like the opportunity to have your own little "shopping spree" at Burlington Coat Factory and see if you can get all the gifts for your immediate family with a $100 gift card as well?
