Deals & Steals

Starbucks locations around the country are holding Free Pastry Day tomorrow. Stop by before 10:30 a.m. and show them this coupon and you’ll get a free Pastry of your choice when you order a hand-crafted beverage.

It’s not the best freebie out there since it requires a purchase, but it’s a fun way to make your money go a little farther at Starbucks.

Thanks, Sarah’s Deals!

Okay, so maybe I was a little over-excited in the title. But this is a pretty big deal. No, actually it’s a really big deal–at least to me!

After months of contemplation, weeks of discussion, and hours upon hours of work, the Store Deals Page on MoneySavingMom is now up and running! You can access it by clicking on “Store Deals” in the navigational bar in the header. Or, you can scroll down on the sidebar to see all the store logos. Just find your logo and click on it and it will pull up the page with the deals at your local store.

Subscribe to Individual Store Deal Lists

Not only can you access the deals for your specific stores by visiting the Store Deals Page, but I’m most excited about the fact that you can sign up to receive deal lists for individual stores via RSS reader or email. Here are the stores we’re currently covering and their specific feed/email sign-up links:

I’m so thankful to Joy at FiveJs and my sister, Gretchen, for all their labor in spear-heading this effort. They’ve been amazing! In addition, this page would not be possible without the dozens and dozens of bloggers who are working with us. Thank you to each and every one of you!

Want To Help Us Out?

We still have some kinks to work out, more stores to add, and we’re getting a crash course in all the stores and their various names and where they are located. If you see a link that isn’t working or find information that isn’t accurate, would you do me a favor and send me an email?

In addition, we still don’t have every store in every region covered. If you are a blogger who posts a thorough weekly deal list and coupon match-ups for a store not on our list yet and you’d like to work with us on this project, please email me and we’ll definitely consider it.

Today is the day for bargains, eh?!

And I have another sweet deal to share. There’s an unheard-of $10/$20 KMart coupon available on the KMart website. It’s a PDF and it appears it can be legtimately printed as many times as you’d like. (This coupon is no longer available. As predicted, it didn’t last long!)

What is really crazy is that it is good through May 15, 2010! You should be able to combine this with manufacturer’s coupons at the KMart Double Coupon Event coming up in April.

In addition, if you have a local store which accepts competitor’s coupons, you could score some great deals with this coupon.

But, if you need Huggies diapers, here’s a way to get them for a ridiculously-low price:

Buy 2 packs of Huggies at $9.99 each (I’m guestimating on that price. Can anyone verify what the actual price is?)
Use $10/$20 KMart coupon
Use 2 $3/1 Huggies coupons
Approximately $2 per package of diapers after the coupons!

I cannot guarantee how long either of these coupons will be available so I’d recommend printing now if you are planning to use them.

Thanks for the heads’ up on this spectacular coupon, Frugalista!

How on earth is is already almost the first day of Spring? Wasn’t Christmas last week?!

At any rate, to celebrate the first day of Spring, on March 20, 2010, all Rita’s Ice locations are giving away a free regular-size Italian Ice to each and every guest who stops by. Read more details here.

As always, I recommend calling your store ahead of time to verify that they are participating!

Thanks, Bargains and Blessings!

Free Reese’s at Walgreens and Walmart

by Crystal on March 18, 2010

If your area got the $0.55/1 Reese’s coupon in last week’s SmartSource insert, you can use it to get free Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups at a variety of stores including Walgreens, Walmart, and likely your local grocery stores as well.

Thanks, My Frugal Adventures!
