Ellie Kay's newest book, Living Rich for Less was just released this week and it looks incredibly timely for our current economy. I have yet to read it myself but I've appreciated many of Ellie Kay's tips and words of wisdom over the years so I have no doubt this book will also be a very helpful read.

Not too long ago, some of you thoughtfully introduced me to the Pampers Gifts to Grow program since we're such Pampers "snobs" here.
(I think most every family has an item or two that they're unwilling to budget brand-wise on; Pampers happen to be that item for us. We'll usually take generic or the brand that's the least-expensive after sales and coupons, but not when it comes to diapers. We're Pampers all the way there. We've pretty much tried every other brand under the sun and found them to be wanting when held up to Pampers–at least for our daughters and their sensitive skin.)
I've been dutifully entering codes off the diaper packages ever since I first heard about this program and am happy to report that today I was able to cash in on a free box of Cheerios. Okay, so it wasn't anything out-of-this-world, but it's a nice little perk for buying Pampers.
And come April or May, when I'll likely have three in diapers at least some of the time (Kathrynne still wears them at night), I'll really be racking up the points! Let's just hope they continue the program indefinitely because I'd like to see the day when I earn enough points to get a Starbucks gift card. It kind of helps put a positive twist on a not-so-enjoyable job: the more diapers you change, the closer you are towards a free latte or mocha! 🙂
PSST! Through the end of December, you can get free shipping on all the rewards offered. Plus, go here for some free codes you can use to help boost your points a bit.
