My two grandkids were sick so they could not attend the July activity. I went to the store right afterward to get projects for them that we could make at home with them and our store was completely out of them. This is the first project i have missed with them all year . Is there anyway i could get two of them for my grandkids. I would be willing to pay for them. Thanks for your help. My grandkids love our Home Depot Day activities!!! We really look forward to it each month!

My granddaughter loves the workshop projects. Was telling a neighbor about it for her grandson. Not only did my granddaughter do her planter, the project people were nice enough to give me another for my neighbors son. He loved it and will be coming to future project days. Thank you Home Depot for what you are doing for hopeful carpenders ,etc.

Just happened to be shopping with my daughter & saw the kids planter workshop. My daughter was too shy to join but luckily they were giving a take home kit so we ended up picking up 2 & she got to wear the Home Depot apron like the other kids & she was really happy! We both build the planter & painted them. It’s super Fun & we loved it.
Thank you Home Depot for this family fun activity with our kids!!!

We started taking my daughter right after she turned 2 years old. She still needed some help, but was able to work on the project. She is now 5 and still loves the kits.

First time running into this site. Can’t wait to try some things out.
Kimberly says
Thanks so much for this reminder!! We go in every month and just grab a kit for each of our children for FREE!!
We always call ahead, though, to see if they still have any left. Sometimes we even ask that they pull enough ahead of time and put our name on them. The kits are always at the Service Desk at our Home Depot. HTH!! 😃

Our kids love doing these string-art projects! Thanks so much!!!
Banni says
Any tips for how to do this for free? All I see is a way to buy the kits for $4.95
Jordan says
I don’t see where it is charging for the kits. If you go into your Home Depot you can pick the kits up for free if they still have them in stock! I hope that helps! -Jordan, MSM Team
Banni says
Sorry…still not getting it.
If you click through the link in the post it takes you to a page that only has downloadable versions of the instructions. When I go to the Home Depot website it doesn’t list any kids workshops – although it does have lots of others listed. Do you have to register? Your response says “If you go into your Home Depot you can pick the kits up for free if they still have them in stock!” Does this mean you just go in and pick them up but you don’t register in advance like you used to?
Jordan says
Yes, that is exactly what it it means. This project is first come first serve. There is no need to register. It is available until February 28th, while supplies last. I hope that helps! -Jordan, MSM Team
