I loved this email that Dawn sent in this week:
I just wanted to say thank you. I am not sure why I signed up for Make Over Your Mornings course in the first place other than I love MoneySavingMom.com and although I have always been very thrifty (my mother taught me well) your blog/website has enabled me to do things with my kids and get things for them that I would not otherwise have been able to afford. However, I am certain God has a way of making things happen and he knew I needed it.
I am a single mom of a 4 and 6 year old who has been doing through a divorce for the past 3.5 years and discouraged that finding time to exercise and do the things I used to do before kids and divorce has been very difficult (okay, nearly impossible).
Starting the course I have to be honest, I thought, “I am 44 years old, a single mom who works, takes care of a house/property and pets, etc. – really, how are YOU going to help me?” However, after I got over the first few days of thinking, “this is a waste of my time, I already do that” I realized you had some good strategies and valuable information and ideas that I could add to my own and would make my life better and most importantly help me work in time for me, time for God, and time for healthier eating and exercise. Also, the tackling my closet and making wardrobe choices simpler is huge.
I still have a few days left and honestly I will miss that part of my mornings. We are headed away for a several days so I will finish when I get back, but I wanted to let you know I appreciate you and thank you for helping me make over my mornings. -Dawn

I’ve been contemplating getting this program or not and this testimonial just sealed the deal for me. 🙂 My husband left me to be a single, working, school going, divorced mom of four… time to even go through any program is sparse, but I hope to see what I can glean from it. Thank you!

I pray for your encouragement. My mother was a single, working, school going, divorced mom of four and I believe she did a great job in spite of all the circumstances she faced. I pray that the Lord will fill you with his peace and comfort, His wisdom is available to help you through all of the difficult times and situations. Grace to you!!
