Woot! I’ve been waiting for a deal like this one! We’ve been using a friend’s card to go, but they live 30 minutes away and there is a SAMs way closer. This is practically free by the time you use the gift card and get the free items!

I can’t take advantage of this because I would be considered a renewal. I remember you writing about going to Sam’s on Open House day and making your purchases on that day. Will that happen again in the fall?

I’ve heard of people using these groupons in their spouse’s name if they have a membership. Is this ethical? Would you do that? I have a membership that is expired and I didn’t renew it. Could I buy this in my husband’s name?

I asked Sam’s club that same question the last time this offer was available (for a friend). They informed me that you can purchase the group on in your spouse’s name and make yourself the secondary person.

It’s been nearly 4 years since I’ve had a membership, does anyone know if it would still be considered a renewal? I’d hate to purchase the Groupon and find out that I can’t use it.
