Chick-fil-A: Dress Like a Cow and Get a Free Meal on July 11, 2014

Chick-fil-a Dress Like a Cow Day

Mark your calendars!

Chick-fil-A’s annual Dress Like a Cow Day is scheduled for July 11, 2014. If you dress like a cow from head to toe, you’ll get a free meal. If you wear some kind of cow accessories, you’ll get free entree.

So who’s going to participate?!?

Thanks, Cha-Ching on a Shoestring!

So if ALL of us go dressed up… We ALL get a free meal? If that’s the case, I’m getting the craft bucket out tonight! :)

Thank you, Crystal!…and I’m remembering great tip you gave us last year (or the year before?): That we can get cow parts—wait!—that doesn’t sound very appealing….I mean, cow features—on Chick-Fil-A’s website nearer to the day of the event, to help us dress up–for a FREE and EASY costume! :-)

A couple of years ago when we were out of town, my daughters wanted to go to Chick-fil-A for dinner. We had no idea it was “dress like a cow day”. As we were entering the restaurant, a family was leaving and asked us “Do you have your cow costumes?” We had no idea what they were talking about, so they explained it to us and then gave us their cardboard “cow hats”. All four of us were able to get free sandwiches, we just bought drinks and sides. When we left the restaurant, we returned the favor to a family walking in. I’ve always wondered how many times those hats got passed on that evening and how many people were blessed with free food.

Chick fil a’s website has a free download that you can print. It’s a cow tail and ears and I believe some spots. My kids and I enjoyed participating last year and another great thing is you can trade the prize inside their kids meal for an ice cream cone! Definitely a treat! If you have old white t shirts, you can cut holes and wear a black shirt under for “spots”.
