I’ve set aside the month of March to really focus on organization in my home and life. And I’d love for you to join me!
Day 7 Assignment
::Get dressed in something that makes you feel great {there’s something about dressing in clothes that make you feel great that just gives you more energy and zest for life!}
::Sit down with a cup of coffee or tea, refer to your list of weekly goals, and make a list of no more than 5-7 specific things you want to accomplish today.
::Complete your morning routine {if you don’t have a morning routine, take some time to create one today! Read my How to Develop a Routine That Works–And Stick With It series for step-by-step help.}
::Set the timer for 15 minutes and vacuum the main living areas of your home.
::Wipe down all the baseboards in your home. If you have children who can help, you might divide your home up into sections and have everyone take a section so you can get this job done quickly!
::Find 7 items to get rid of today. Throw them out, stick them in a donate or garage sale box, give them to a friend who can use them, or list them on Craigslist or eBay.
Note: If you work outside the home or have a really busy week with little time for extra projects, just do the bolded project above.

What’s the best thing to use to clean wood baseboards? Just a microfiber cloth or a damp cloth?
Crystal Paine says
That’s what I used.

Yesterday we did get a bit derailed, but this morning I was able to vacuum out the car, wipe down the dusty interior, and also vacuum most of the house. I am glad I did, because I discovered through vacuuming the carpet that we have a tiny roof leak in our living room! So, I was glad to find that sooner rather than later. Next, to work on those 7 things to get rid of….

I love that you keep saying to just do what you can. Between work, two little kids and a dog who recently learned how to escape from her kennel and destroy things, there’s no way I can keep up with this challenge! I did however, spend a good amount of time yesterday finding things to get rid of. Love how you talk about setting aside 15 min. to work on your goals. That sounds doable even on these crazy busy days and I don’t feel like I should spend the whole weekend catching up on the rest of the week’s challenges that I haven’t been able to do yet, just the things I really want to do.

I’m behind a bit. I plan to get the truck all cleaned out and I have been wiping down the baseboards with each room that I get in order. It still leaves a few to get done, but it’ll give me more time to work on the areas that were neglected over the weekend.
Crystal Paine says
Just do what you can and don’t worry about what you can’t get to!

I’ll be joining you today! ‘m pretty sure my baseboards could use a wipe down, after muddy paws. Thanks for the car one yesterday, that one is my favorite!- Now for a clear day to clean the outside.
