I keep opening these “huge number of meals in small number of hours!” crock pot recipe articles and going away disappointed to find that they’re largely (or entirely) meat-based. Our family eats meat maybe once or twice a week and makes extensive use of beans, lentils, and chickpeas. Are there any resources you’d recommend with a crock pot freezer cooking agenda for a family like ours?

Us too, Melanie. We also eat a lot of rice and pasta. Maybe meaty sauces to pour over pasta or rice?

This has helped dinner time so much in my house. When we take a break during home school I can dump dinner in the crock pot and it is done! We can run to the store in the afternoon if we need it and we are not tempted to eat out.
I love all your tips and I am just about done with your book. It’s the first book I have read in a really long time!
