Dillons
I didn’t have time to go to Aldi this week so I bought everything at Dillons. Note: The beef jerky in the picture above was NOT purchased at Dillons (it was purchased at a different store as a Christmas gift/stocking stuffer for my husband). I didn’t realize it was in the picture until several hours later…I’m guessing my toddler stuck it up on the table when I wasn’t looking. 🙂

I’m not sure where you are, but in some places scanner errors must be reimbursed with an additional 10%. That’s the case here in Michigan.
Merry Christmas!

I hate being stuck shopping at a different store and paying way more but it makes me thankful to get back to Aldi’s low prices!

Gretchen, it’s refreshing to see a shopping trip that is typical rather than exceptionally cheap, especially when you can’t make it to more than one store to get the best deals like Aldi in your case here. So often, only crazy amazing deal shopping trips get posted on-line, but they’re not always a possibility every week. I feel like I’ve failed if I have to go to a store & pay “full price” because of schedules, etc. Thanks for the reality check! Merry Christmas to you & your family.

My toddler likes to “help” me in similar ways when I’m trying to do things. 🙂 Just wanted to encourage you that I really like reading about your shopping trips and recipes. Thanks for writing them up!

My kids can’t stand the Kroger brand of cocoa puffs. lol
Christina says
On the Flour Tortillas being over charged it called scanner error and the store owes you some money back.
Kim says
If you take your receipt & the tortilla package (or take a picture of the package with the price marked down) to customer service, they’ll probably refund you the overcharge. 🙂
