Hi everyone! I’ve been reading Money Saving Mom for QUITE some time now and REALLY enjoy it! I have gotten LOTS of great tips and money saving ideas to help my family. THANK YOU!!! Each time I read about a great deal that someone got, I think, “WOW! That’s a GREAT deal!” and I get very excited for them! :) Well THIS time I was able to get a GREAT DEAL and now I’m very excited for myself! In fact, I decided I had to share because my deal was SO GREAT!!! I read the post about shopping for diapers this week at CVS and getting them for less than $5 per package–AWESOME!!! I was actually able to get them even cheaper than that! Gretchen talked about using the 3/$2 off per package Huggies coupons to buy 3 plus getting the 2 dish soaps so my total was over $30 which qualified me for the $10 ECB reward. I was able to ALSO use a pharmacy reward of $5 AND an in-store coupon for $5 off $15 purchase. PLUS when I got to the register, the clerk asked if I wanted to use my $3 off $15 that was loaded to my card. I told her I would rather use the $5 off $15 since it was better and she said I COULD USE BOTH!!! So I was able to get another $13 off the price Gretchen paid for the diapers and dish soap. That brought my total BEFORE ECB to just $12.67!!! When you factor in the $10 ECB, I spent only $2.67! Then if you subtract the $1.98 I spent on dish soap, the 3 packages of diapers cost me only $0.69!!! That’s only 23 CENTS PER PACKAGE!!! YAHOO!!! Thanks, Money Saving Mom!!!

Wow! That’s amazing. I wish my brain worked like that. I got lost in the fog of reading how you combined this with that. Good for you, though.

A friend of mine will have a baby in two months and I’d like to give her diapers as a shower gift (with the gift receipt, of course). I’ll read this again after I’ve had my coffee, maybe that will help… ;)
