Christina’s CVS Shopping Trip: 8 packages of Pampers & LUVs!
Christina emailed in her CVS shopping trip from this week:
We have a 2.5 year old boy and another boy due in 6 weeks. We’ve been stockpiling diapers like crazy with all the CVS deals lately.
I had $12 ECB that were expiring today, so I needed to use them up. I haven’t been getting any email coupons and I barely get the generics from the scanner for the past 6+ months. I’m guessing I’ll have to get a new card soon…
1st transaction (I was only planning on doing one):
(1) Colgate Total White toothpaste = $2.99
(3) Colgate Total Mouthwash = $8.97
(1) Pampers Baby Dry = $8.99
(1) Pampers Swaddlers = $8.99
(1) Pampers EzUPs =$ 3.49
(1) Luvs = $6.99
$3/$10 Oral, Deo, Shave scanner coupon
$1.50/1 Pampers Baby Dry
$1.50/1 Pampers Swaddlers
$1.50/1 Pampers Easy Ups
(3) 1.10/1 Colgate Total Mouthwash
$1.00/1 Luvs coupon
$1.00/1 Colgate Total White toothpaste
Total with tax: $15.78
Received $6 for Colgate deals and $5 for pampers deal.
I was trying to figure out what happened with the Pampers deal. I stared at my receipt and then realized the Easy-Ups were only $3.49! I figured they didn’t count at all because they were on clearance, so I went back and grabbed…
(1) Pampers Cruisers=8.99
(3) Pampers Easy Ups= 10.47
(2) $1.50/1 Pampers Easy Ups
$1.50/1 Pampers Cruisers
$11 ECB from transaction #1
Received: $5 for reaching the Pampers limit. I checked my receipt when I got home and realized that the Easy-Ups were counting towards the deal even though they were clearanced, so in my 2nd transaction I didn’t need to buy the Cruisers to hit the total, but that’s okay, they’ll get used!
