FYI: I work for CVS and was told today that we need to manually key in the BOGO coupon for the shampoo as $2.50. The savings on the coupon is UP TO $4.99. Yes, I know that it will automatically deduct $4.99 but doing so is considered coupon fraud. (Or at least that is what I was told by the store manager). Some cashiers may let it go. Please don’t argue with the cashier that does it correctly as we are only doing our job.

Thank you for answering my question that I was going to post. I ended up getting 4 ECB back anyway , so I guess it all worked out.

Thanks for posting this. I was able to get the Schick cartridges, something that will definitely get used with three teenage girls!

Where can I find the Schick coupon? Link doesn’t pull it up for me….
Brenda says
I think the link is dead.

I like Gretchen’s shopping trips, but she seems to buy a LOT of toothpaste and shampoo/hair products. Does she stockpile it all, or donate some, or what?

I buy tons of shampoo and toothpaste- it’s not like it the shampoo goes bad. 🙂 And whatever toothpaste I can’t use, I donate to Operation Christmas child- I donate like 15 tubes every year so it’s a really easy thing to get for cheap or free to bless others!
Gretchen says
I stockpile it as well as donate it. The fun thing about having a large stockpile is that I often let my friends go through my stockpile and take what they need for free. It’s so fun to be able to bless others in this way.

I’ve just started trying to use coupons on these items as my son and I put together personal care bags for homeless living on the streets. We love to do it but it gets very expensive. So hopefully this will help!

Good for you, Jennifer! And yes, it will absolutely help. Last year my family made 10 blessing bags out of things I had bought for nothing, or almost nothing.

Good job!
