    Make sure you toss them in the dishwasher to clean them to make them last longer :)

      Oh, I love this tip! I usually wash my sponges in the laundry every once in a while. Do you think that the dishwasher would be better?

        I actually put mine in the microwave for 3 minutes.
        (Of course they are soaking wet with dish detergent and water. DO NOT TRY THIS WITH DRY SPONGE)

        Apparently this is the way to go, according to WebMD:
