Thanks, this is a great deal and I was just noticing that I was low on paper.

I believe the 5-ream case is free after $20 back in rewards. Is this different than a rebate?

    • Alison February 19, 2013 at 07:06 pm

Rachel, the rebate is cash back (for the single ream) and the rewards (for the 5 ream case) is store credit. Hope that helps!

Also, the Staples Rewards have an expiration date, unlike the rebates once you have the cash.

In the written text it says you can get 11 reams of paper, and in the other place below the picture of the pack of paper, it says one to a household. I think the number 11 may refer to the size of the paper (8.5 x 11).

There are two coupons — one for a free ream of paper, one for up to two free 5-ream cases. I hope that clarifies better!

Yes it does! Thanks! Remember not to use previous Staples rewards on the 5 reams – or you will not get the paper free!

??? I just spent $64.00 in Staples Rewards on 2 cases (5 reams) of copy paper, the single ream of paper, one package photo paper, and 1 package mechanical pencils. The total was $65.97. So we paid $1.97 out of pocket. Does that mean I will not get the Staples Rewards on the 2 cases of paper?

No, you do not get to roll Staples rewards when buying a rewards product. You need to use the Rewards to pay for rebates.

Can you point out where it says that? I reread the rules, to make sure I was up to date on everything and think I missed it.

                This comes from FatWallet.com:
If you pay for a Free After Rewards item w/ Rewards you will not get Rewards back.
If you pay for a Free After Rebate item w/ Rewards you will get your entire Rebate back.
Free after Rebate IS NOT the same as Free After Rewards.
Using coupons on Free After Rebate items will not lower your Rebate.
Using Staples coupons on Free After Rewards items will lower your Reward amount.
Using manufacturer coupons on Free After Rewards items has not been affecting Reward amount lately.

If you want more info of the rules, Google “How Do Staples Rewards Work” and you can read it there.

My last Easy Rebate check got lost in the mail. I now have to wait 30 days to notify them so they can reissue the check. The original rebate was mailed 11/27 :( next time I will PayPal it.

Did the free ream of paper (value $6.99) expire? I’m not seeing a coupon for that at the links. Thanks!

    • Crystal February 27, 2013 at 11:03 am

Yes, it was only good for last week.

Thanks for the quick reply! I’ll have to get on these things quicker. :)
