I’m spotlighting the best beef stew recipe I’ve ever had on my meal plan post today. It contains only fresh and clean ingredients, and you can taste that in every bite.
Here is the link to the beef stew spotlight and our food allergy meal plan for this week!

I make a similar crockpot chicken recipe, it is delicious and definitely makes plenty to add to the freezer.
Here’s what we are having. We are trying to use up the things in the freezer and also some produce we have: http://www.savingmyselfsilly.com/2013/01/menu-plan-week-3-finishing-up-produce.html
You’ll love Austin! That’s my area!
It’s been a long time since I’ve been there so I’m excited to go again!
I live in Austin, too. Have a great visit, Crystal!
When you are having a busy week it is great to pull meals out of the freezer! I love it! Thank you posting your meal plans:) It is so nice of you to share ideas and give other mothers inspiration on trying new meal ideas. It is very easy to get into a routine where you are making similar things all of the time. A little planning and you can have a well balanced meal on your table from the freezer when you do have a crazy week! http://www.cozycountryliving.com/category/weekly-menu-plans/
I’m amazed you’re doing freezer cooking on such a busy week. You go!
Here’s my menu. We have a slower week this week:

Well, I kept the freezer cooking super simple… and we’ll see if it actually happens!
At least I have great intentions, right?!
The Southwestern Slow Cooker 2-Bean Chicken looks really good! I can not wait to see how that turns out in your freezer session. My menu for this week can be found

Hope you enjoy your conference it looks like it has some great speakers. My family loves your cinnamon rolls! I too am doing an easy menu this week, but mostly because we are all getting over colds.
Oh! I love your bread machine cinnamon rolls, and make them often. (Probably too often, LOL) I would love to see how they come out after freezing them, and if you freeze them before or after baking. Definitely looking forward to that post!
I saw the recipe for the crock pot chicken fajitas and we will be trying them soon. I just got a new crock pot as my last one died. I am hoping to get some applesauce made in the crockpot today too.
I am keeping our menu simple this week using a soup kit from the freezer along with making tacos for my husband’s birthday dinner.
Here is our menu for this week,

Here is mine. I am trying to work on doing my menu Friday instead of Monday and take Sunday “off”. Makes a way less stressful Sunday. http://mixingwithmichelle.blogspot.com/2013/01/whats-on-menu-for-121-127-2013.html
Wow those potatoes look amazing. I’m so hungry now……
Here is our menu this week.

We just finished our chicken and biscuits… YUM!!!! Perfect for the cold snowy weather in upstate NY!
Here is the rest of our menu plan: http://livinghappierandhealthier.blogspot.com/2013/01/meal-plan-week-4.html
Each week I have decided to add on trying a new recipe. I’m sure we all have that file of recipes that looked good but we never get around to trying. Time to start trying something new, pitch the recipe we don’t like and organize the ones we do.

Hi Crystal ~ Just wanted to let you know that I tried that Chiles Egg Bake recipe you posted on your menu last week. My husband LOVED it! That recipe is definately a keeper! Plus, I always have tortillas, cheese, eggs and usually chiles in the house ~ I made it with only 1 can of chiles and it still tasted great, we just put a little taco sauce on top.
I can’t wait to hear about your freezer cooking. I’m just getting started in that world and am looking for good recipes. Thank you in advance for sharing!
Was wondering what kinda of bread machine do you have ?? You make it sound so easy to use and fool proof …
just stumble onto the bread machine you use….
Here’s what we have: http://moneysavingmom.com/msm/2010/12/christmas-gift-guide-zojirushi-bread-machine-and-win-one-too/ I love it, but it is a bit pricey and I wouldn’t recommend starting with it if you’re not 100% sure you’re going to use it a LOT.
Your right its a bit pricey , but there are so many cheaper bread machines and tons that have great reviews so its going to be tough to pick one.
Do you (or anyone else) have a favorite chicken noodle soup recipe? Thanks!
