Whew. That’s the truth!
Boy, I have so much trouble with that one! I get so much LESS done when I try to do everything at once!
Needed to hear today
You would laugh, laugh, laugh at me if you were to see my desktop. Not quite sure how many sessions of Safari I have open, but I’m working on Swagbucks, blog posts, checking in for new posts from you, e-mail, charitable donation spreadsheet, etc. This, all while I’m cleaning out a pile of paperwork and getting the room ready for decorating the Christmas tree. Oh, and I’ve been doing general housework, too. Somehow, bopping from one item to another keeps it interesting to me and I manage to get more done. Go figure!
Same here!! I accomplish so much more when I have 20 things going on at once!
I think this is so true! Laura Vanderkam says something to the effect that multi-tasking is really ineffective single-tasking.
This truth has really been hitting me hard lately. Challenging to do this as a mom as it feels like the nature of the job requires lots of juggling, but I’m working on it as I’m realizing that I’m not getting things done the way I would like to.
I need to print this out for every room in the house! I am constantly on the go, from one room to the next, all day, and it seems like I accomplish nothing!
