Download the free iBotta app to earn cash at the grocery store!

by Crystal on November 19, 2012

Have you checked out the new iBotta app? It’s another way to earn, similar to Jingit. Unlike Jingit, though, it requires a product purchase to earn the money.

However, the payout is high and it’s really simple to do. Here’s how it works:

::Sign up for iBotta and download the free app.

::Choose any of the products that you plan to buy at the store and click on the earning opportunities and watch the videos, take the quick surveys, or read the information to add the cash to your account.

::Purchase the product at an approved retailer (make sure you’re buying it when it’s on a great sale and using a coupon, too!)

::Take a picture of your receipt when you get home and your cash will be added to your account.

::You can transfer your cash to your Paypal account whenever you want to cash out.

Have you tried the iBotta app? If so, let us know how it has worked for you!

Thanks, For the Mommas!

    Crystal,
There’s a new “Share the Love” promo going on now with Ibotta. When you share Ibotta with friends, those who sign up for Ibotta with your referral link will instantly earn $5 when they redeem their first offer! Yay!

On Friday, they also expanded to include the Kroger line of stores. Woot!

I didn’t see this advertised on the app and I didn’t get $5 when I signed up, so I didn’t want to publicize this in case the promotion is over with. But I’m hoping it’s not and my $5 will come through on my first shopping trip!

Do you happen to have a link to an official statement/info on this? Thanks so much!

I got an email from Ibotta on Friday about it, but you should be able to verify it by visiting their Facebook page.

I’ve been using Ibotta for about a month and am very pleased with it! I have cashed out twice now, totally $11. Their customer support is great and it’s a very reliable program. I especially like how you can give offers a thumbs up or thumbs down which will effect future offers.
