Sorry, my link really isn’t about deodorant, it’s my weekly goals! Sorry for the slip up!

I didn’t do a great job on my goals last week, but I spent most of the week super sick with a stomach bug. Hopefully the kids don’t get it this week!
Elizabeth says
I sat here and I’ve thought about it most of the evening and I think I have 3 goals.
1. Survive work without throttling anyone
2. Get all reasonable things done on my nightly chores and daily ‘to do list’
3. Don’t kill anyone
I think if I succeed at that then I’m golden! 🙂
Good to see you are moving right along with your goals and keep up with the scarf 🙂 I finished one a few months ago and am impatient to start using it. I was about to start another one and then realized that there are too many scarves in this house and no one I know need needs one right now so I’ll have to come up with a new project. — But only after Thanksgiving otherwise I might fail at my 3rd goal 🙂

It sounds like you are being wise! 🙂 You’ll have to let us know what you decide to knit! I really want to learn how to make socks… but I also want to do scarves for the girls and some dish cloths. If only I weren’t such a slow knitter! 🙂
Elizabeth says
Don’t feel bad I’m slow too. My daughter wanted to learn how to knit so last Christmas I got her a kit and I got some knitting needles for myself so that we could learn together. I had always crocheted before that. She got frustrated and I only figured out 2 stitches so it took me oh 9 months for a kinda short scarf 🙂 But no matter the amount of time it takes it always feels good to complete something.
If I want something quick I pull out a crochet hook if I want something to look nice I pull out my knitting needles now.
My word of advice? Youtube is your friend or at least it was mine 🙂

Just linked up my weekly goals post! Next week I am going to take a cue from you & some of the other posters & separate my goals up into categories. Great idea!

Yay for 10K training – I’m doing that myself, hoping to race in March 2013. 🙂 I am curious, what program (or app?) do you use to train? Or are you just increasing your run time each week?
Crystal says
Go you! I’m using the Run Training app. I also have the Nike+ app, but I like the Run Training app best. What are you using?
And I miss keeping up with you on FB! You should email me sometime with pictures and some of your FB updates. 🙂
Jana Tingom says
I miss keeping up with you too,. Especially been thinking of your wedding and the fun beforehand lately, as a mutual friend of ours (who was there) is getting married herself early next year. I will have to see about emailing some pics and an update soon. 🙂
I used a walk/run type training program (app) for the 5K, really liked the style, and have been searching for a similar 10K one. Maybe I’ll look into the Run Training; I have the Nike+ too but, like you, don’t like it as much. Just have a freebie for the 10K app now. It’s a Breast cancer run edition or something and has too many ads.

I see you are still making progress on your scarf. I need to get started on a few Christmas handmade gifts myself and seeing that you are working on your scarf just reminded me of it. I should have included that in one of my goals for this week. I will have to add it in next week.
Crystal says
It’s really close to being done and I love it! I’m hoping to make scarves for the girls for Christmas presents, if I can get my act together. Gotta finish my scarf first!
Shelly says
I have a skirt I knit for myself all I have to do is finish the trim. I really should get it done as it would be great to wear this time of year. But now I have gifts to start working on so I think it will just have to wait. I hope you are able to finish your scarf soon. At least your girl’s scarves will be smaller and quicker to knit. I hope you will share a photo when you have your scarf completed.
Katie says
I absolutely love your new ebook! It was a blessing to be able to read it and write a review– congratulations on yet another amazing book!
Crystal says
You are so kind! Thank you for your sweet encouragement!

Way to go!

I really like how you break your goals down into even smaller sections like mothering, business, etc…. I should do that too, to make sure I am covering all areas of life. 🙂 Thank you again for inspiring me to be better!
