This site isn’t in English, so it might be hard to figure out.
I thought the photos were fairly step-by-step. Has anyone seen an English site that has posted directions for something like this? If so, be sure to leave the link!
If you use Google Chrome as your browser, you should be able to translate the page to English. It doesn’t translate perfectly, but it should be enough to help you figure things out if the photos aren’t sufficient.

Another idea along these lines that I read on a blog around last Christmas …
Cut the top off a box, like a cereal or cracker box, whatever size you’d like for your gift. Wrap it with newspaper, plain brown paper bag, or gift wrap. Wrap the paper over the top edges of the box and tape it to the inside. Decorate however you’d like. Punch two holes in the top on both front and bag to attach ribbon handles. And you’re done!
You can decorate the newspaper or brown bag paper however you wish, either before or after wrapping the box. With little ones, it’s fun to have them stamp their handprints onto the paper and then use it for gift wrap for grandparents or other oved ones.
I’d give credit to the source of this great idea if I had any idea where I read it.

Here are the translated directions to go with the pictures
Cut paper into rectangular sheets and notice the folded edge of the paper in the middle as shown.
Fixed using glue overlapping edges of the paper.
Fold a 5cm flap to the bottom of the bag.
You fold the two short edge back and continue to paste the folded 2 long edges like in the bottom to form pockets!
Wait for the glue to dry, simulated hand bag.
Now, we put the gift inside the bag!
Fold the remaining 2 cm at the edges to form the mouth of the bag.
Fold the doily in half and tape/glue over the top.
Finally, the punch holes to insert ribbon and tie bow to finish.
I tried the newspaper gift bag in July. It was fun to make.
