I’ll be in Bloomington, IL, on Saturday (September 8, 2012) speaking at the Living Well Women’s Expo and I’d love to meet you there!
I’ll be giving a presentation at 11 a.m. on 25 Ways to Cut Your Grocery Bill Without Using Coupons. It’s a fun, practical, and fast-paced presentation — and it’s geared for anyone who wants to save money on their grocery bill.
Admission to the Expo is $5 per person. From what I’ve been told, it sounds like it will be a $5 well spent as there will be lots of samples, freebies, and giveaways — plus fun stuff like free massages, food sampling, health screenings, tea tastings, and even face painting (I think I might skip that one — but a free massage? Sign me up!)
I’ll be sticking around after my presentation for a meet and greet and I would love the opportunity to meet some of my Illinois readers. Truthfully, meeting readers face-to-face is one of my very favorite things in all the world. So if you live near Bloomington and you’re free on Saturday, stop on by the U.S. Cellular Coliseum!
Oh and just for fun, if you come, be sure to tell me that you’re a reader and that you saw this post. I have a little freebie for you. 🙂
Don’t live in Illinois? See my upcoming speaking engagements for 2012 through 2013 here. I’d love to get to meet you at one of them!

I’m sad I’m just seeing this today…the day you’re sooo close to me! Maybe another time 🙁

Man! I do live right near there, but I’ll be out of town this weekend! Boo. I get invited to this thing every year, but had no idea until a few days ago that you’d be a part of it. Sorry I’ll miss you.
Joanna says
I lived just 30 minutes from there until a month ago….I’m so bummed! I’ve been following you for several years. I love your recipes and organizational ideas. I appreciate the fact that you acknowledge God through the good days and the bad! Hopefully, you will find yourself in S. Florida in the future! 🙂

Hope you have a great turn out, I would SOOO Love to come but I can’t quite find it in me to leave my 7 week old. I would love to make the 40 min trip to meet you in person but I do want to thank you for everything you do to help me stay organized and save money.

I will try to make it. I will bring my 15 year old daughter and we will make a day of shopping and having girl time. (Oh, the seasons of life) I will be coming from 1 hour away.

I am so upset that I’ll miss you!!! I live only 30 minutes from Bloomington and would SO love to hear you speak and meet you!!!
I’m so bummed as I know you don’t get to IL too often… 🙁
My son has a double header baseball game and another has a band competition… so I’m already going to have to figure out how to be in 2 places at once!
Good luck with your speech and hope those kiddos and you feel better very soon!

I would love to make it there but unable to. I have to attend my drill weekend for the Army Reserves but hopefully after I retire this month, I can attend another event when you come to Illinois. Have fun!

Awesome! I am only 30 minutes away! I wish I would have known about it earlier so I could have a sitter. My kiddos are 5, 3 and 1…wonder if they would cooperate. I would love to meet you in person! I have been a reader for two years.
Crystal says
I posted a blurb about it on Tuesday’s goal post, but you had to kind of have microscopic eyes to see it. 🙂 I hope you’re maybe able to find a sitter; I’d love to meet you!
Jodi D. says
I must have missed it. You might see me there. I will be the frazzled one chasing kids around. 🙂

I wonder if I’ll ever be able to time a “Southern vacation” with a speaking engagement of yours … I doubt you’ll be heading “North of the border” any time soon!!
