Target: Possible Carefree Pantiliners moneymaker!

Here’s another hot Target deal reported on Coupon Cravings!

Check to see if your Target has the Carefree Pantiliners marked down to $1.57. If they do, you can do the following deal:

Buy 3 regular Carefree Pantiliners at $1.57 each
Spend $4.71 out of pocket and you should get a $5 Target gift card back
Free plus small overage after gift card

If you have the $0.50/1 Carefree coupons from the 7/22, 7/29 or 8/26 SmartSource insert, this will make this even more of a moneymaker!

Note: Typically, your total needs to be above $5 for the $5 gift card to trigger. However, the sign on this says “Buy 3, Get a $5 gift card” so if your Target also has these signs up, you should be able to get the gift card since they are advertising it as such. I wouldn’t recommend trying this if the signs are not up at your Target, though.

Remember that you can roll these Target deals or use the $5 gift card to purchase other deal scenarios like the Up & Up and Colgate deal that will give you another gift card. This lowers your out of pocket expenses significantly!

Let us know if you try this and it works for you!

Thanks, Coupon Cravings!

Totally Target says that it won’t prompt a gift card unless you spend AT LEAST the gift card amount you’re earning (before coupons). So three at $1.57 wouldn’t prompt it.

  2. Sarah says

It said in the Crest post that the sum of the 3 items had to equal $5 to trigger the gift card, so wouldn’t that apply here too?

I would assume so, but Coupon Cravings is reporting it as working. I’m planning to try it myself tonight unless I hear from someone else who has tried it before then.

FYI…My Target has this deal, but they didn’t honor it. I took a picture of the sign, but I got them for $1.67, $1.95, and $2.25. It came up to $5.88. I had 3 coupons, so it was still a money making deal.
