In an amazing true story, two lives are inexorably interwoven.
Courtney Becker, a 911 dispatcher, took a routine call on November 19th, 2004. The call for help came from a man came from a man whose young daughter was in cardiac arrest. Courtney was destined to receive that call, and that little girl became part of his spiritual journey.
He Heard Hannah is an incredibly inspiring story of spiritual perseverance and life-changing hope. God’s purpose is undeniably seen through the miraculous events that are told in this book, and it illuminated the biblical truth, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
The recounting of God’s redemption in the midst of anguish and unimaginable grief in He Heard Hannah was captivating and powerfully moving for me to read. And as I said in my endorsement of it, “you’ll be inspired, blessed, and infused with hope” by reading it.
He Heard Hannah is written by Lynnette Kraft and Courtney Becker. Lynnette is a dear friend of mine and a true kindred spirit. She’s one of those women that I could talk to for hours and never run out of things to talk and laugh about.
She’s experienced extreme pain, loss, and heartache in her life — including the loss of three children. (More details of her story and God’s faithfulness are recounted in He Heard Hannah, as well as in her first book In Faithfulness, He Afflicted Me — a book I’d highly recommend reading if you have lost a child or know someone who has.)
In spite of the unimaginable struggles she’s been through, Lynnette is such a cheerful, upbeat, and encouraging woman. Be sure to stop by her blog, if you haven’t already. You’ll be blessed. You can also follow Lynnette on Twitter and Facebook.
