by Crystal on June 26, 2012

If you have a Kroger store nearby that is running the Daytona 500 Mega Sale, be sure to check and see if the bottles of Kraft Barbecue sauce have peelie coupons on them for $2 off one Country Time Lemonade and two bottles of Kraft Barbecue Sauce.

If so, you can turn this into a money-maker! Head on over to Cincinnati Cents for all the details.

Looks like Fred Meyer for the North-Westerners might have a similar deal going on.

Just a word of warning — in the Nashville area Krogers, the Kool-Aid/Country Time cannisters are on sale for $2.29 (vs. $1.29) — so that adds a net $3 to the transaction cost. Still not a terrible deal overall, but just wanted to let people know. Thanks!

I just did this deal and ran into the same issue. The clerks looked at me when I said it came out to be too much..lol. I still bought everything as $4.10 with $2.00 off next time is still a good deal!

Ann Arbor Michigan stores have the canisters priced at $2.49……

OOP $4.46, with catalina only $2.26 because canisters were $2.00

Worked as advertised yesterday; today the price of lemonade was boosted to $2.

I just checked at a Kroger in Virginia–there are no peelies on the lemonade–boo. It’s advertised at 1.99 (on sale from $3.99).

The peelies are on the BBQ

I tried this deal at our local Dillons store in Kansas. The total was 3.92. Then it printed a $2 catalina, making it $1.92 out of pocket. Still aprox $.20 each!!! Thats pretty good to me!!

I’m in KY and we have 2 local Kroger stores. They were running sale prices, but none of the BBQs had peelies, so no deal for me. =(

I did this yesterday. The BBQ sauce was $0.99 each, and the drink mix was only $0.19 each after coupon! I bought four BBQ sauces, and two drink mixes. Made me happy!
