I am thankful that God loves me! He loves me so much that He died for me. One of my biggest blessings is my family and Bible study group. I am enjoying your posts and have passed them on to friends when they bring up a subject and I think of you.

I was at the hospital with my daughter the other day. She had to have some tests done for asthma. There was a little girl there about my daughters age (9) that was very sick. I over heard the doctor and nurse talking about her situation. In three day she had lost 8 lbs, and was unable to keep anything down, could not sleep, and was very weak. When I saw her in up close she was so frail, and very boney. I looked at my daughter and said thank you GOD for my healthy children. Most of the time you don’t hear what doctors say about their patients, but I believe GOD was reassuring me to be thankful for my healthy children, he knew I was worried about my daughters results, even though I didn’t show it on the outside……So I am very thankful and blessed to have healthy children!

  8. Alisha says

I am thankful that the Lord blessed me with a healthy baby girl 10 weeks ago. I am also thankful that I was spared the morning sickness and tiredness that come with the 1st trimester. I did not know I was pregnant until I was 14 1/2 weeks along. (What a blessing considering my youngest daughter is 9 and my son is 15.) I am thankful that the placenta previa corrected itself and I did not have to have a c-section. I am glad that I have been able to forgive my employer for firing me 1 week before I was to come back from maternity leave. They just didn’t want to deal with an employee with a newborn. (What jerks!) I am so thankful that I had the wisdom to let God take control and guide me through all this! And last but not least I am now thankful for unemployment!

I’m so thankful that God never gives up on me. At the same time that I’m trying to be more frugal, I’m also trying to learn that I’m not the one in control of our finances. Every time I slip and think that I’m in charge He leads me back to the truth without losing patience with me. So thankful!

I am very thankful for your website which helps me to get great deals. I have 2 wonderful teenage children, who in turn have many friends who always end up at our house. I have a very limited budget, and your website helps me get all the foods to make my home the hangout, so i always know where my kids are.

  18. Jessica says

I am thankful for the strength God has my daughter who is living with type 1 diabetes. She is an inspiration.

  19. Melanie says

I am thankful for my husband’s wonderful Christian grandmother who has lost 2 husbands and 2 children (including my husband’s father at an early age) and has more faith in God than anyone else I have ever known. She just received notice of a very old life insurance policy on my father in law where she was the beneficiary. She prayed about it and decided to gift it to my husband and brother in law. In God’s perfect timing, my truck needed major repairs (more than our savings would cover) and this money enabled us to pay for it in full and get completely out of debt except for our student loans!

  22. gina lucas says

I am thankful for so many things! Years ago my husband left me with our son, no money and a mountain of debt. By the grace of god I made it through that time in my life. I learned a lot of lessons and one of those was how to survive with a small child and very little money. I went to yard sales, used coupons and relied on my church. Now I am debt free and I still use coupons. I teach others how to use coupons and I donate food to my church food bank. Thank you for your web site!! I refer people to your site. I am thankful to help others because I have walked in their shoes!
