Healthy Homemade Dairy-Free Mocha Recipe

by Crystal on March 14, 2012

After seeing this Healthy Hot Cocoa recipe, I was inspired to concoct a Healthy Homemade Mocha recipe that was dairy-free. The end result was yummy. It’s not exactly the same as a traditional mocha, but it’s still good–and pretty good for you, too!

Sounds delicious! How many servings does this make?

I love your posts, Crystal! We have dairy, nut and egg allergies in our house and rice milk has saved my life. I love almond milk, but unfortunately, that darn nut allergy gets in the way! Rice milk tastes much like skim milk, so the family never notices it when I use it during cooking. I’m so grateful for all the options we have now-a-days! And I’ve really enjoyed your dairy free posts!

This looks great – I make my own cheap version at home most of the time to. I just heat milk and add a spoon of instant coffee and a squirt of
    Nesquik.

It turns out pretty good for a fake alternative.

This sounds really good! I love the ingredients in it, too! Huge fan of almond milk and honey ;) –and coffee, too. Oh, and the chocolate chips. :0)
