Not available in my city, or any in my state for that matter…

    • Crystal March 20, 2012 at 07:56 am

You can choose any city or state and it should show up. It’s an online deal. Let me know if that doesn’t work.

    • Sarah March 20, 2012 at 08:25 am

It told me that there were no deals in my city either, but when I signed in to my Amazon account, this deal shows up in a banner ad above the space where it says there are no deals in my city.

    Awesome! thank you!

Can we purchase one from any city’s deal? My state doesn’t have any cities listed here, and my Amazon accounts are registered in that state.

    • Crystal March 20, 2012 at 08:04 am

Yes, since it’s an online deal, you should be able to.

  • melissa March 20, 2012 at 08:04 am

I entered my city and it told me there were no deals in my area, but then at the top of that same screen there was a little banner with a “See More” link. Click on that and it’ll take you to your Amazon account and let you purchase. I just did with no problems. HTH

Birmingham, AL still has some available! I didn’t check any of the other cities, but I’m sure there are others.

can i use a gift card for the deal?

    • Ryan March 20, 2012 at 11:18 am

no, I have a bunch on my account from swagbucks and it didn’t come up on amazon local. I think they consider it a separate site.

If you aren’t using swagbucks I recommend it highly as I get $5 amazon cards about once a month from them.

  • Lacy March 20, 2012 at 10:38 am

I bought one, but it isnt showing up in my vouchers…. Anyone else having this issue?

    • Katie March 20, 2012 at 11:30 am

Yes, it showed up immediately after I ordered it, but when I went back and looked under my Vouchers, it disappeared. However, when I go back to the offer to buy, it says I already reached my limit. I assume it will eventually come back after they process all the orders (I hope).

      • Shannon March 20, 2012 at 02:12 pm

I’m having the same issue. I wrote to Amazon Local, but haven’t heard what’s happening. I noticed the $5 charge to my credit card is pending though, so I’m hoping the same as Katie.

    • Mary H March 20, 2012 at 02:52 pm

It took about an hour for mine to show up. I think they are just roaring busy and it is slowing down the automated process.

      • Lacy March 20, 2012 at 03:02 pm

Thanks! It did show up it just took awhile.

  • Stacy March 20, 2012 at 11:00 am

The message I got after buying said that it could take a few hours for vouchers to be issued due to the popularity of the deal.

We buy so much on Amazon that its as good as money for us!

  • alicia March 20, 2012 at 11:29 am

I got mine too! Thanks for the link to this deal, Crystal. I’m putting mine towards a Kindle Fire, partly for our homeschooling and partly for me. :)

  • Kate R. March 20, 2012 at 07:13 pm

It’s been a good 6-7 hours since I bought mine, and the charge went through but no sign of anything that I can use : (

  • Allison V. March 20, 2012 at 07:22 pm
