Hi, Crystal.
I bought your book and have been reading through it. It is really helping me to fine tune the savings skills I have learned in the past two years. At first…I had no idea what items we really bought all the time and the budget was so low…I just had to buy and use what was super cheap. Now I have a little more breathing room in my budget and I want to keep certain things in the house, but I still want to get the best price. So, I am ready to set up a price book. This may be a silly question…but, when I log the price do I use the price after the coupon or before?
Thanks in advance.
Joyce

If you put the price post-coupon, you’ll want to note that. Over time, when I track prices, I usually find that there are trends with coupons and sales that I can plan for ahead of time.

Okay. I may try to figure out a way to keep track of both prices for a while. At least until I have a handful of best prices solid in my head:)
Thanks!

wonderful ideas and book discussions. I have been waiting for your book to arrive at my door but it still has not arrived. Amazon.com said they would reorder it in one day delivery if the book does not arrive by Saturday. Oh well!

This looks good! There’s nothing quite like group discussions when wanting to learn from a book!
