Amy Dearie December 15, 2011 at 2:34 pm

“fabulous” doesn’t appear to be a working code.

Amira December 15, 2011 at 2:34 pm

Did not work for us too :(

Heidi Schmidt December 15, 2011 at 2:34 pm

I just tried this deal and the code fabulous won’t work. It says it’s not valid.
Any ideas?

stephanie December 15, 2011 at 2:35 pm

It’s telling me the promo code is not available?

Debra Dittmeier December 15, 2011 at 2:35 pm

I tried to sign up for a new account through your link, but it said “fabulous” was an invalid promo code. Any suggestions?

kristi December 15, 2011 at 2:36 pm

Same here, says it isn’t valid

Anybody have luck with the code “fabulous” working? I tried to enter it, and it said “no longer valid”. Any other codes swimming around out there??? Thanks!

I am debating whether to get this deal! I am all about the Target Gift card… but has anyone ever used restaurants.com? I don’t know much about it? Thanks for any information or experiences!

Patty December 15, 2011 at 3:05 pm

Restaurant.com offers coupons for restaurants. For example, you can purchase $25 coupon for around $2. The limitation is that you have to spend a certain amount at the restaurant to get the $25 discount. Hope this helps.

eva December 15, 2011 at 3:07 pm

does anyone know how the $5 credit for signing up works? ive signed both myself and my fiance up through e-mails stating that we would recieve credits, yets there has never been anything in the “credit” section

Emily December 15, 2011 at 7:57 pm

I didn’t get that $5 credit, either. I signed up using the link here, but it doesn’t say anything in my plumb dollars section.

Blythe December 15, 2011 at 3:15 pm

Thanks! I had a $10 off to plum district so got the deal just for the target gift card… So even if the restaurant.com doesn’t pan out it is still a winner.

Marla December 15, 2011 at 3:49 pm

The “fabulous” code didn’t work, but a code I was given at a House Party *did*, making this a great deal. Thanks for the heads up, MSM!

Cindy Lynn December 15, 2011 at 5:59 pm

“Fabulous” worked for me. I’ve bought this and restaurant.com certificates before- no problems at all. Love them both!

Caitlin December 15, 2011 at 6:02 pm

I just did the deal, and the code ‘FABULOUS’ worked for me, making it $22.50. And if you purchase a deal this week, you get 20% taken off automatically for your next orders… which means I purchased the deal again, getting two more $25 gift cards for $40! Love the target :)

Lisa December 15, 2011 at 7:16 pm

I was able to use the code “fabulous” for my purchase, but I haven’t seen anything about getting 20% off after making a purchase. Did you get a promo code? I tried purchasing again and it’s not taking off 20% automatically…

MVB December 15, 2011 at 6:29 pm

Thank you! I went through your referral link and signed up as a new customer and got the $5. Plus I had a $10 gift card for Plum District, so I got the deal for only $10! Yeah!

Bobbie Jo December 15, 2011 at 6:38 pm

I tried this transaction using a debit card – does anyone know if it has to be specifically CREDIT vs debit, because I couldn’t get it to go through!

Laura December 15, 2011 at 7:09 pm

I never received the JCPenney cards I bought from Plum District. I actually ordered 2 because I thought it was such a great deal. They say they don’t have any record of my email address. I, however, have a record of the credit card charges. Meh!!

Crystal December 15, 2011 at 7:13 pm

Definitely show them the record and call your bank about it. I’ve never had an issue with ordering from them before, but this is good to know. If they don’t refund the charges, email me, as I have a direct contact with them and would be glad to email them for you.

Beth December 15, 2011 at 10:54 pm

Oh dear. I hope the same thing doesn’t happen to me. I JUST now tried doing this deal, and it gave me an error message saying that it was a duplicate transaction, even tho I only did it once! And when I went back and checked my account details, my Plum dollars were gone, and it doesnt say anywhere that I have any deals purchased. No email confirmation. Arrrgg. I emailed them, hopefully they get it figured out. I just dont want to flush $17.50 down the drain! :(

Jess December 15, 2011 at 11:20 pm

The same thing happened to me, Beth. It’ll be interesting to see how they respond.

Karen December 16, 2011 at 8:59 am

exact same thing happened to me!

Beth December 16, 2011 at 1:55 pm

I emailed them today. Asked for a refund. I’d like to know if they get it taken care of for you! Seems like we’re not the only ones who’ve had this problem.

asmith December 16, 2011 at 5:41 pm

I don’t know how the JCP gift card promotion worked but I saw for this one that you take the code they give you and go to a website and request the gift card and it is mailed to you.

Danielle December 15, 2011 at 10:11 pm

Terrible experience, code wouldn’t work, but I decided to get the deal anyway. Then it said the deal was sold out, yet my card was charged twice, and I only ordered one. UGH! Really good deal, but way to much hassle.

Susan December 15, 2011 at 11:20 pm

The deal sold out.

Susan December 16, 2011 at 1:41 am

I got mine for $15 because I had a code for $10 off frm a Catalina that printed at the grocery store.

Danielle December 16, 2011 at 7:33 am

I got the, duplicate transaction error message as well, even though I only ordered one. Then it said the deal was sold out. I was charged twice on my card yet my account says no deals. Its a good deal, but not worth all the trouble. UGH, very disappointing. Sent an email, hope it gets fixed today.

Beth December 16, 2011 at 1:54 pm

I just now got two confirmation emails. My card was charged twice, one for $17.50, and the other for $22.50. I emailed them and told them to refund me the $22.50 because I didn’t authorize that transaction. I sure hope they take care of it.

Diane December 16, 2011 at 2:54 pm

Exact same thing happened to me. First charge of $17.50 and second of $22.50 when I got an error message and didn’t think I purchased anything at all!

asmith December 16, 2011 at 5:12 pm

I got the same thing. I sent email and I called a phone # I found and LM.

asmith December 17, 2011 at 4:14 pm

I received email and my 2nd charge was reversed. They were apologetic for the delay in responding.

melissa t December 18, 2011 at 11:07 am
